10cm (Small Size) :-
Sand Replacement Method. Consists of Sand Pouring Cylinder, one calibrating container 10 cm dia & a square tray of 30 cm x 30 cm with a central hole of 10 cm diameter. Relevant Standard : IS : 2720(Part-XXVIII)

15cm (Medium Size) :
Sand Replacement Method. Consisting of Sand Pouring Cylinder container metal tray hole in the centre.

20cm (Large Size) :
Sand Replacement Method. with calibrating container of 250mm internal depth, one metal tray 450 mm square and 50 mm deep with a 200 mm dia hole in the centre.

In this apparatus motorised, the loading lever level is maintained automatically when weights are added to the hanger and as consolidation of the specimen takes place. The instrument comprises the following : Loading unit, maximum capacity 20 kg/cm2. A micro switch arrangement with drive motor and reduction gearing has been provided together with a forward/reverse switch. Suitable for operation on 230V, 50Hz, single phase, A.C. supply.

The tile sample is pressed under a specified load against a grinding path strewn evenly with an abrasive powder revolving at the rate of 30 + 1 r.p.m. At the end of 100 revolutions of the disc the second parallel side of the tile is subjected to wear for an equal number of revolutions of the disc. The wear of tile is measured using a thickness gauge. The Abrasion testing machine consists of a replaceable grinding path fitting on to a disc rotating its vertical axis. The rotating disc and grinding path are enclosed by a circular tray. A bracket holds the specimen. The loading is by a counter balanced lever. A funnel is provided to facilitate charging the grinding path with abrasive powder. Supplied complete with automatic preset revolution counter and one 7.5 kg weight but without abrasive powder and thickness gauge. Suitable for operation 230 V, single phase, Ac supply.

Used for determination of Kinematic and intrinsic viscosity of fuels, lubricants & petrochem raw materials at constant temperatures in accordance with ASTM D 445 and other equivalent methods. Available in two versions, to work at above ambient temperature and below ambient temperature.

Double walled, outer chamber made of G.I. - powder coated, with removable toughened Glass window panel, inner chamber made of S. S, FHP motorised stirrer for uniform temperature, Dual Display Microprocessor Based Digital Temp. Controller with PT-100 sensor. Temperature range from 5 C above ambient to 100 C., Control accuracy 0.1C. Below ambient Viscosity Baths are fitted with Refrigeration system (Temperature Range : 10C to 100C). The Baths can accommodate 2 / 4 / 8 Viscometers with varying tank volumes.

All glass tubing used in the construction of a single viscometer is of the same composition and the finished instrument is thoroughly annealed. The design and details of the viscometer are given at side. The size, approximate constant and Kinematic Viscosity is as per table.

For opaque and transparent liquids : detailed drawings of the reverse flow Cannon-Fenske viscometer is given in the figure. The size, approximate constant and kinematic viscosity range, is given in the table.
