More About Air Handling Unit : AHU is used to provide heating, cooling, or both to change the supply air temperature, and humidity level depending on the application. It can be provided by heat exchanger coil(s) within the air handling unit air stream; such coils may be direct or indirect in relation to the medium providing the heating or cooling effect Indirect coils use hot water or steam for heating, and chilled water for cooling (prime energy for heating and cooling is provided by central plant elsewhere in the building). Coils are typically manufactured from copper for the tubes, with copper or aluminium fins to aid heat transfer. Cooling coils will also employ eliminator plates to remove and drain condensate. The hot water or steam is provided by a central boiler, and the chilled water is provided by a central chiller. Downstream temperature sensors are typically used to monitor and control "off coil" temperatures, in conjunction with an appropriate motorized control valve prior to the coil.

Synopsis Pneumatic conveying systems are basically quite simple and are eminently suitable for the transport of powdered and granular materials in factory, site and plant situations. The system requirements are a source of compressed gas, usually air, a feed device, a conveying pipeline and a receiver to disengage the conveyed material and carrier gas. The system is totally enclosed, and if it is required, the system can operate entirely without moving parts coming into contact with the conveyed material. High, low or negative pressures can be used to convey materials. For hygroscopic materials dry air can be used, and for potentially explosive materials an inert gas such as nitrogen can be employed. A particular advantage is that materials can be fed into reception vessels maintained at a high pressure if required
Pneumatic conveying systems are particularly versatile. A very wide range of materials can be handled and they are totally enclosed by the system and pipeline. a hopper or silo in one location to another location some distance away. Considerable flexibility in both plant layout and operation are possible, such that multiple point feeding can be made into a common line, and a single line can be discharged into a number of receiving hoppers. With vacuum systems, materials can be picked up from open storage or stockpiles, and they are ideal for clearing dust accumulations and spillages. Pipelines can run horizontally, as well as vertically up and down, and with bends in the pipeline any combination of orientations can be accommodated in a single pipeline run. Conveying materials vertically up or vertically down presents no more of a problem than conveying horizontally. Material flow rates can be controlled easily and monitored to continuously check input and output, and most systems can be arranged for complete automatic operation.
Pneumatic conveying systems are particularly versatile. A very wide range of materials can be handled and they are totally enclosed by the system and pipeline.
Dense Phase Conveying SystemThe Dense Phase Conveying System is the most advanced, efficient and most reliable system to convey material with wide range of capacities of dry bulk solids up to 200 TPH, with terminal distances exceeding - 1, 200 meters. This system includes weighing, batching, blending, lump breaking, storage, master control equipments etc. through Dense Phase Conveying System for bulk material handling in the plant.
Dense Phase System is used to push and convey the highly dense concentration of bulk solids materials effectively at a low constant speed inside the conveying pipe lines. Any type of material (heavy, abrasive or, fragile, crystalline or granular ) can be conveyed without causing the degradation due to low velocity and less wear to the system components. Dense Phase System is reliable, flexible and maintenance free due to lower quantum of moving parts and it can also be easily installed at location, where space availability constraint is there.
The low volume of air is utilized at the ash / transporting vessel to convey the material into the line at maximum density while the balance air quantity is added along the conveying line through coupling unit provided at starting on the pipeline to overcome the pipeline frictional losses thus pumping material at the highest obtainable efficiency. The Coupling Unit ensures a uniform gradient and helps to maintain the material at maximum density. It also helps in maintaining the desired velocity, and over coming the pipeline / bend's friction and helps to restart the flow of blocked material if any along the conveying line regardless of length. These Coupling Unit also helps in minimizing the compressed air consumption and pipe abrasion.
Lean Phase systemLean Phase system works on low air pressure, herein material is conveyed in suspension in the flowing air. To keep the material in suspension in the pipeline it is necessary to maintain a minimum value of conveying line inlet air velocity that, for most materials, is of the order of 13–15 m/s.

Dry Fog System We supply dry fog type dust suppression system for all the application. Dry Fog Dust control Systems have been in operation worldwide. It make dual fluid (air and water) atomizing nozzles control virtually all breathable and fugitive dust.
Theory and Application :
The "Dry Fog" Dust Control System works on the principle of agglomeration. The Dust particles released from a Material Handling/Processing Plant which become air borne are made to pass through a blanket of extremely fine Fog. The dust particles and the Micronics size Fog droplets collide and adhere to each other, thus increasing their mass. After a series of such collisions, even the breathable and fugitive dust ranging from 1 to 800 microns mass agglomerates to become heavier enough to settle. The lower capital, operating and maintenance cost compared to De-dusting Bag House System made it popular in the industries. Easy installation in existing plants. In most cases, the system can be installed while the plant operates at full capacity. No major plant modifications are required for installation of the system. Water addition to the process is as low as 0.1% of the weight of the material being handled. No requirement of Chemical.
Dry for type dust suppression sysytem is widely used at ground hopper, trasfer towers, coalhandling plants etc.
Operation of DS SystemAuto control or manual control governs the system. It has to be insured that main tank is filled with water. The water is pumped by feed water pump from main tank to feed water tank. the system in recalculation. The sensing system for controlling spray at proper header ensures spraying solution if conveyor is running with coal. And will not allow spraying solution if conveyors are running empty, the solenoid valve headers are energized if conveyor is running with coal. If all or some of the solenoid valves are not energized the system will realize pressure through pressure relief valve, which protects the system. A solenoid valve is provided with bypass line, which operates when none of the spray header solenoid valves are operative.

An advanced two-stage evaporative cooler uses 100 percent outdoor air and a variable speed blower to circulate cool air. Two-stage evaporative coolers can reduce energy consumption by 60 to 75 percent over conventional air conditioning system.
A 2-stage Air Washer (aka "indirect/direct" cooling) represents the most advanced cooling system utilizing evaporative cooling technology. This cooling option is much more energy efficient than cooling with refrigerant (standard air conditioning), but it's not suitable for all cooling applications.
Let's explain 2-stage evaporative cooling in terms of the stages of cooling that occur. In the first stage, hot outside air passes inside a heat exchanger that is cooled by evaporation on the outside. During this initial cooling phase, the incoming air stream doesn't pick up any extra moisture. In the second stage, the same air stream passes through a water-soaked pad where the additional cooling takes place and the air picks up some additional humidity.
A two-stage Air Washer can deliver cool indoor air with a relative humidity in the 50%-65% range, while direct Air Washers typically condition the air at around 70% relative humidity.
Direct Evaporative CoolingA direct Air Washer is the simplest type of cooling system available. You can duplicate the function of a direct Air Washer by wrapping a wet handkerchief around your neck on a hot day, and standing in front of a fan. It takes heat energy to turn water (or any liquid) from a liquid into a vapor. As the water in the wet handkerchief evaporates, your body gives up heat and you feel cooler.
A direct Air Washer has just a few basic parts, as shown in the drawing. A large fan pulls hot air through a dampened sponge-like pad, and distributes the resulting cooler air to the interior space through a ductwork system.
A direct Air Washer works best in a hot, dry climate where it's desirable to add humidity to air while cooling it. In hot, dry areas throughout the Southwest, this type of cooling system is a popular alternative to refrigeration-based air conditioning. Air Washers consume less energy than refrigerant-based systems because a fan can operate on less power than a compressor.
If you live in the Southeast, where summer weather is hot and humid, a direct Air Washer is not a wise choice. Instead, consider an indirect Air Washer, a two-stage Air Washer, or a conventional refrigerant-based AC system.
Indirect Evaporative CoolingIndirect evaporative cooling works on the same principle as direct evaporative cooling lowering air temperature by causing water to evaporate. The main difference with an indirect system is that a heat exchanger is used to cool the air supplied to the living space. The evaporative cooling cycle occurs in the heat exchanger.

Indirect evaporative cooling provides cool air to interior spaces without as much humidity as direct evaporative cooling.
