Majorly used in cold box. It is also called as anti-corrosion or corrosion resistant vents. These type of vents provides bigger area to vent out gases. Mesh ranges from 30 to 100. For bigger sizes we have a Y style ring support. Compared to bar style support Y style is better to support the strength of mesh.
Also called Self-cleaning vents or slotted tapered vents. Similar to slotted Vent with extra opening area to filter the sand particles preventing the clogging of sand at the slot openings. Which helps in easy release of gases.
Tin- Plated Pates obtained directly from sheet metal. These are used as bases for the chaplets whenever it becomes necessary to increase height or extend basic surface area so as to prevent the collapse of the chaplet itself.
