ECTFE coated carbon steel equipment for 96% sulphuric acid (H2SO4) application used by wet sulphuric acid plant based in Indonesia for a renowned pulp & paper mill. Inside partition plate has to be designed properly in order to take care of the hydrostatic load when filled partially. 800 micron coating of good quality works very well for this application with average service life of 8- 10 years.

Dimensions of the ECTFE coated distributor Diameter : 2900 mm x Height : 1000 mm Plate on top of the distributor have number of holes which was a challenge during ECTFE coating, we had to make sure that the complete plate with all holes are coated properly.

2 mm FEP lining on Mild steel equipment of 150 KL. The size of the equipment is 4200 mm Diameter x 11, 200 mm height. Other equipments were of 3000 mm Diameter x 6266 mm height. The equipment is used by a fluorine handling company based in Abu Dhabi. It has given satisfactory performance installed since 2002. Total FEP consumed is more than 1000 m2. It has been the single largest order for 2 mm FEP fabric backed sheets for the FEP sheet manufacturer.
