Selection of correct media and compound is very important to achieve the required output in terms of quality, cost and process time. Shape, size and type of media is selected based on the application, geometry and material of components. ceramic media :ceramic media is widely used for its abrasive properties and hardness. It is mainly used for deburring, descaling, edge radiusing, polishing and smoothening requirements. plastic media :resin bonded plastic media from gala, are proven for deburring & finishing of non-ferrous components & castings and also resulting into dent less finish. This media is suitable for aluminum die cast parts, also suitable for certain rubber and plastic parts. glass media :glass beads are used as rolling media for high gloss on work piece of low density material like optical frames, electric, plastic components etc. Major advantage of this media is very low wear rate. porcelain media :porcelain media produces high luster mirror finish for stainless steel parts. This gives high polish and have low wear rate. steel media :steel media are used for burnishing to obtain lusture & reflective mirror-like finish. We offer steel media in ss 202, ss 304 and ss 316 grade used in heavy duty ball burnishing vibratory finishing machines. Best suited for stainless steel cutlery items. drying media :corn cobs have replaced saw dust as drying media. Centrifugal finishing is a unique high energy mass finishing process, specifically developed for smaller components and for those that require long process times in other finishing mechanism. Ideally suited for high quality finishing and can process even fragile & delicate parts without any distortion. this machine comes with removal barrels (small machine) and fixed barrels (large machines). we provide standard machine as well as design customised machines for customers specific requirements and enhance components finishing. principle :- centrifugal finishing machine is composed of number of barrels mounted on the periphery of turret. The turret rotates at high revolution per minute (rpm) in one direction while the barrels are rotated in the opposite direction. Parts to be deburred and finished are placed in each of the barrels, normally together with media, water and some form of compound. turret rotation creates a high centrifugal force of up to 50 times earth gravity, thus compacting the load within the drums into a tight mass. the counter rotation of the barrel causes activity of this tightly packed mass. The media slides against the parts being processed, removing burrs and improving surfaces. The abranding action during the high centrifugal force results in a very short process cycle. The inclined axis barrel rotation generates unique super-eight motions, which causes additional rubbing and polishing effect. features : fixed barrels & removable barrels with straight & inclined barrels position.
