Hastelloy C276 Round Bar, UNS N10276 as per ASTM B574 also knows as Alloy C276, Nickel Alloy 276, Inconel 276 is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone. Hastelloy alloy C276 is widely used in the most severe environments such as chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour natural gas. Nickel Alloy C276 and Hastelloy C276, is generally considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available, and comprised of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, iron and tungsten. These elements combined results outstanding corrosion resistant properties particularly crevice and pitting, allowing for its use in a broad range of corrosive environments. It displays tremendous resistance to many acids, including sulphuric, acetic, phosphoric, formic, nitric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric compounds, which is why it is so popular in chemical and food processing environments including strong oxidizers.
