Stainless Steel 347

Stainless Steel 347 (AMS 5512/AMS 5646) UNS S30347 Werkstoff 1.4544/1.4546/1.4550 :
Alloy 347 is a chromium nickel stainless steel which has been modified by the addition of columbium and tantalum. The main advantage of this is an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion which is common to other austenitic stainless steels following exposure to temperatures of 800° to 1500°F. Type 347 has about the same general corrosion resistance as Type 302.

Type 347 is generally used where corrosive conditions are severe, such as harsh steel exhaust stacks, manifolds and ring collectors. Type 347 is also used for heavy welded assemblies which cannot be annealed after welding or where the operating conditions cause exposure within the temperature range between 800° to 1500°F.

Stainless Steel 410

Stainless Steel 410 (AMS 5504) UNS S41000:
Type 410 is a basic hardenable martensitic stainless steel and is well suited for use in highly stressed parts where properties such as corrosion resistance, good strength and ductility are required. 410 is used for steam / gas turbine blades and buckets, bushings, valve components, fasteners, nuclear reactor control rod mechanisms, petrochemical equipment and machine parts.

Resisitance to oxidation and corrosion - Alloy 410 exhibits good corrosion resistance to atmospheric corrosion, potable water, food acids and to mildly corrosive chemical environments because of its ability to form a tightly adherent oxide film which protects the surfaces from further attack.

Stainless Steel 301 Strip Corrosion Resistance:

  • Good resistance in applications involving external exposure to mildly corrosive conditions at ambient temperatures.
  • Resists outdoor, industrial, marine, and mild chemical environments
  • susceptible to carbide precipitation during welding, which restricts its use in some applications
  • Similar to resistance of Stainless Steel grade 304


Stainless Steel 301 Strip Heat Resistance:

  • Can be exposed continuously without appreciable scaling to a max of 1600°F(871°C).
  • Maximum exposure temperature is about 1450°F (788°C), for intermittent exposure
  • Has an oxidation weight gain of 10mg/cm 2 in 1, 000 hours, in temperatures over 1600°F (871°C).


Stainless Steel 301 Strip Heat Treatment:

  • Solution Treatment (Annealing) – Heat to 1010-1120°C and cool rapidly.
  • Use low side of range for intermediate annealing.
  • This grade cannot be hardened by thermal treatment.

Stainless Steel 301 Strip Cold Working:

  • hardens at high rate, creating a very high strength from cold rolling and from roll forming.
  • more difficult to work than other austenitic stainless steels, due to its high work hardening rate.
  • strain-hardened austenitite steel undergoes partial transformation into martensitite steel during this process.
  • severe cold deformation can still occur, due to residual ductility.
  • Grade 301 becomes strongly magnetic when cold rolled.


Stainless Steel 301 Strip Welding:

  • must be annealed for maximum corrosion resistance
  • more difficult to work than other austenitic stainless steels, due to its high work hardening rate.
  • must be annealed for maximum corrosion resistance
  • Welding and post weld annealing will both remove high strength induced by prior cold rolling.
  • Spot welding is commonly used to assemble cold rolled 301 components.
  • material will lose temper in the heat affected weld zone.

Type 316 is an austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel. It also contains molybdenum which increases its general corrosion resistance as well as the mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. The properties of type 316 are similar to type 304, however 316 is stronger at elevated temperatures amd also corrosion resistance is improved particularly against sulphates, phosphates and other salts as well as reducing acids such as sulphuric, sulphurous and phosphoric. Type 316L is an extra low carbon version of type 316.

Stainless Steel 347

Stainless Steel 347 (AMS 5512/AMS 5646) UNS S30347 Werkstoff 1.4544/1.4546/1.4550 :
Alloy 347 is a chromium nickel stainless steel which has been modified by the addition of columbium and tantalum. The main advantage of this is an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion which is common to other austenitic stainless steels following exposure to temperatures of 800° to 1500°F. Type 347 has about the same general corrosion resistance as Type 302.

Type 347 is generally used where corrosive conditions are severe, such as harsh steel exhaust stacks, manifolds and ring collectors. Type 347 is also used for heavy welded assemblies which cannot be annealed after welding or where the operating conditions cause exposure within the temperature range between 800° to 1500°F.

Stainless Steel 410 (AMS 5504) UNS S41000:
Type 410 is a basic hardenable martensitic stainless steel and is well suited for use in highly stressed parts where properties such as corrosion resistance, good strength and ductility are required. 410 is used for steam / gas turbine blades and buckets, bushings, valve components, fasteners, nuclear reactor control rod mechanisms, petrochemical equipment and machine parts.

Resisitance to oxidation and corrosion - Alloy 410 exhibits good corrosion resistance to atmospheric corrosion, potable water, food acids and to mildly corrosive chemical environments because of its ability to form a tightly adherent oxide film which protects the surfaces from further attack.

Alloy 904L is an austenitic stainless steel intended for use under severe corrosion conditions, with a very good resistance to attacks in acidic environment, as sulphuric, phosphoric and acetic acid. Stainless Steel 301 Strip Corrosion Resistance:

Stainless Steel 301 Strip Heat Resistance:

  • Can be exposed continuously without appreciable scaling to a max of 1600°F(871°C).
  • Maximum exposure temperature is about 1450°F (788°C), for intermittent exposure
  • Has an oxidation weight gain of 10mg/cm 2 in 1, 000 hours, in temperatures over 1600°F (871°C).


Stainless Steel 301 Strip Heat Treatment:

  • Solution Treatment (Annealing) – Heat to 1010-1120°C and cool rapidly.
  • Use low side of range for intermediate annealing.
  • This grade cannot be hardened by thermal treatment.

Stainless Steel 301 Strip Cold Working:

  • hardens at high rate, creating a very high strength from cold rolling and from roll forming.
  • more difficult to work than other austenitic stainless steels, due to its high work hardening rate.
  • strain-hardened austenitite steel undergoes partial transformation into martensitite steel during this process.
  • severe cold deformation can still occur, due to residual ductility.
  • Grade 301 becomes strongly magnetic when cold rolled.


Stainless Steel 301 Strip Welding:

  • must be annealed for maximum corrosion resistance
  • more difficult to work than other austenitic stainless steels, due to its high work hardening rate.
  • must be annealed for maximum corrosion resistance
  • Welding and post weld annealing will both remove high strength induced by prior cold rolling.
  • Spot welding is commonly used to assemble cold rolled 301 components.
  • material will lose temper in the heat affected weld zone.

Type 316 is an austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel. It also contains molybdenum which increases its general corrosion resistance as well as the mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. The properties of type 316 are similar to type 304, however 316 is stronger at elevated temperatures amd also corrosion resistance is improved particularly against sulphates, phosphates and other salts as well as reducing acids such as sulphuric, sulphurous and phosphoric. Type 316L is an extra low carbon version of type 316.

1.2714 is a German Hot work alloy steel material grade.it is shock-resisting steel. it belongs to DIN 17350 standard. Digital Grade material number W-Nr 1.2714, Metal Steel grade 56NiCrMoV7.  It is a die steel, use in extrusion molds, Hot Cast molds. like aluminum production, Aluminum cast mold. Our Tool Steel material 100 % ultrasonic tested at a good price. Small size steel products make by hot rolled, large size steel products make by forging.

 

1.2714 cold working tool steel is for general-purpose tools and dies where greater toughness is required, but with some sacrifice of abrasion resistance.

Alloy A286 round bars UNS S66286 EN 1.4980 contain Chromium 13.5-16.0%, Manganese 2.0% max, Nickel 24.0-27.0%, Silicon 1.0% max, Carbon 0.08% max, Aluminium 0.35% maximum which is commonly used in various daily applications such as Jet engine components, High temperature fasteners, springs, Non-magnetic cryogenic equipment. Alloy A286 in the annealed condition can be strengthened further by relatively low temperature heat treatment.
