Waste Water Treatment is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater and household sewage, both runoff (effluents), domestic, commercial and institutional. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove physical, chemical and biological contaminants. Its objective is to produce an environmentally safe fluid waste stream (or treated effluent) and a solid waste (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal or reuse (usually as farm fertilizer).
Electrocoagulation (EC), also known as radio frequency diathermy or short wave electrolysis, is a technique used for sewage water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial processed water, and medical treatment. Electricity-based electro coagulation technology removes contaminants that are impossible to remove by filtration or chemical treatment systems, such as emulsified oil, total petroleum hydrocarbons, suspended solids, and heavy metals. A fully automated modular system has no filters to clean or replace and does not require the use of chemicals.
