Application:



Swing check valves are designed to close quickly and automatically with positive shut off in either horizontal or vertical (flow up) pipe runs.

Gate Valve

Application:



Gate valves are primarily used for stop valves fully opened or fully closed. They are not normally considered for throttling purposes, but more for slurries, viscous fluids, etc.


Gate valves are characterized by a traveling wedge, which is moved with the operation of the stem nut. The wedge travels perpendicular to the direction of the flow.


Gate valves usually have a minimum pressure drop when fully open, provide tight shut-off when fully closed, and remain relatively free of contamination buildup.

Globe Valve

Globe valves are primarily used as control valves where throttling or both throttling and shut-off are required. Globe valves can also be used for on-off service; however, because of the design, a pressure drop becomes inherent. This is generally confined to on-off applications where the valve is normally closed and pressure drop is not important when the valve is open. Normal applications will find the globe valve with the flow and pressure under the disc. Hi - Tech cast steel globe valves are commonly made in outside screw and yoke designs with full ports (including seat ring) and heavy-duty, conical plug type discs.

Knife Gate Valves

Features:




  • Field replaceable elastomer sleeves.

  • Dynamic self adjusting secondary seal.

  • Unobstructed flow eliminates turbulences & minimise the pressure drop across the valve.

  • 100% isolation bubble tight shut off results in an absolutely zero downstream leakage.

  • Double seated design provides bidirectional flow & shut off.

  • Adaptable frame design, a top removal stem nut can be modified into the air cylinder or bevel gear in the field.

  • Body housing to suit ASME B 16.5 # 150.

  • Bottom flush plate with cavity inside for removal of slurry and contamination.

  • Flushing nipple provided for steam to prevent solidification of slurry.

  • The knife gate can be completely withdrawn from the process flow in the open position and can be replaced without taking the valve out of service.

  • Suitable for wide range of industrial applications. It can handle dry and wet media.

  • The sleeve will be Molded with an integral inner ring that located the seal into the valve housing and helps resist the high shearing forces when the gate is driven into them.

  • Valve shall have gland packing as a secondary seal to eliminate any leakage between knife gate and the body in any orientation and prevent outside contamination to get into the body.

  • Actuator : Manual Hand Wheel operated, Manual Bevel Gear operated, Motorised Actuator, Pneumatic Cylinder, Hydraulic Cylinder.

  • Valve can withstand higher pressure up to PN - 25 rating.
