For determining the ratio of the specific heats of a gas.Glass bottle of about 10 liters capacity which is fitted in a wooden box.The neck of the bottel is fitted with a metal cap.The cap is fitted with a bent tube with stop-cock for connection to a pump which is fitted to the side of the wooden box.
