Plant Growth Chamber is a chamber having three side illumination, humidity & temperature. It has applications in plant science, soil science & agriculture research etc. The use of plant growth chamber is to create artificial environment using combination of temperature, humidity and light at different set points for biological samples, electronic components and other relevant applications.

 

Description

Construction : We construct the inner chamber of machine with thick gauge of stainless steel 304 & exterior with powder coated GI sheet for corrosion resistance surface. High density PUF insulation of 70mm is filled between inner and external walls. Main chamber is fabricated with arc welding. We construct sizes as small as 100 litres to 1200 litres or customize as per user requirement. Caster wheels with brake are fitted for easy movement.

 

Doors : We use double door mechanism with inner door for observation which is fixed directly to the inner chamber that give you access to view plants inside without any variation in internal atmosphere. The exterior door is insulated and fixed with easy to use latches.

 

Temperature & Humidity: The temperature range is 5°C to 60°C and humidity range is 50% to 90%. These parameters are controlled through PID controller with excellent accuracy and uniformity through PT100 temperature and capacitive humidity sensors. High Quality heaters are used for temperature. For humidity, stainless steel tank with immersion heater is used with automatic water filling facility.

 

Illumination : Illumination plays important role in effective plant growth condition; therefore, we use high quality growth lights at three sides of the chamber. These lights are controlled through cyclic timer for 24X7 a week. These lights can be easily changed or replaced at user level.

 

Optional : We also equip our plant growth chambers with some advance features such as PLC based HMI controller. It features color touch screen having display and control of temperature and humidity with data monitoring and storage and also facility USB interface to transfer data into pen drive. 30mm port hole for external wires and validation are also available.

Specifications 

Biosafety Cabinets are specialized workstations widely used in clinical, pharmaceutical, life science and industrial laboratories where experiments need highly contaminant free environment. Also known as biological safety cabinets and biohazard safety cabinets, these are made in three different class types such as Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3; in which Class 2 is widely used in microbiology laboratories because it provides protection to both product as well as personal. It is biosafety level factor which decides which BSC should be used in laboratory. These cabinets are considered safer than other clean benches because such BSCs effectively eliminate risks to operator / staff, samples and the environment from pathogenic biological agents (PBA) and microorganisms responsible for spreading airborne infection.

 

Types 

There are three types of class 2 biosafety cabinets are made. It is the type of work which decides which class 2 BSC should be used in laboratory. Below is short description about all types:

  • Type A2: recirculate approximately 70% air and 30% exhaust
  • Type B1: recirculate approximately 30% air and 70% exhaust
  • Type B2: Does not recirculate but exhaust 100% air

Air Circulation 

In order to minimize spread of airborne bacterial and viral organisms, the use of filter is crucial; therefore, we use 99.97% efficiency HEPA filters for particle size 0.3 microns in our biological class 2 type A2 safety cabinets. These air filters are of reputed brands in the market, economical in price and easy replaceable. ISO 5 / Class 100 quality, supply and exhaust through HEPA filters are done. Inflow velocity remains approx. 105 fpm (0.5 m/sec), while down flow velocity remains approx. 55 fpm (0.3 m/sec). 70 % air is re-circulated and 30% exhaust.

 

Standard Accessories 

Our Biosafety cabinets are fitted with fluorescent lights outside working zone. UV lamps are fitted inside working zone in such a way that the operator cannot see them directly. An hour meter is connected to UV lamp. Microprocessor controlled mechanism allows UV on only when door is closed. Auto sensors facilitate to run blower after opening of door only. User can set warm time as per convenience which in turn will tun on the FL light only after set time and door open controlled by microprocessor. Electrical sockets are fitted to run any instrument under the working area; in addition, service fixtures for air, gas, vacuum and water are fitted on demand We also manufacturer biosafety cabinets class 2 type A2

The air flow velocity remains between 0.4 m/s to 0.6 m/s. The purpose of using such workstations in laboratory is to create particle and bacteria free working environment to carry out specialized work. As these units discharge air towards user, they provide no personal protection but product protection from room contaminants

 

Types

Vertical Laminar Air flow

It is the most used type of laminar air flow. In vertical flow cabinet, room air is entered in working area through HEPA filter fitted on top of the cabinet. Thus, air flows downward (vertically) towards work surface and leaves the cabinet sweeping out particles and bacteria.

 

Horizontal Laminar Air Flow

In horizontal air flow cabinet, room air is entered in working area through HEPA filter fitted on the back side of the cabinet. Filtered air flows horizontally towards the user creating sterile working environment.

 

Construction

These cabinets are ergonomically designed to provide long service life. Only thick metal sheets and pipes are used in construction so that you may get the finest and safest Laminar bench in the market today. There are 4 different MOC used.

Air Filtration

The efficiency of a Laminar Air Flow workstation depends upon the quality of pre filters and HEPA filters. In our LAF, the Air filtration system is created to work efficiently even in critical environment. Pre filter that we use are box type pleated having efficiency 95% down to 5 micron and made of HDPE + Non-woven + HDPE mesh media and fitted in aluminium case. The HEPA filters are of high quality having efficiency 99.99 % down to 0.3 micron and fitted in aluminium anodized case. The blower assembly has ¼ HP; 1400 RPM branded motor and has aluminium anodized impellers. The working area is carefully designed for comfortable working and easy cleaning. The workbench is made of stainless steel. Standard fittings are air / gas cock and electrical outlet. For illumination, we use fluorescent lamps. Front side of working area is covered by manual sliding door (sash), which is made of transparent acrylic plastic. There are some optional features that can be added if required by customer. LCD display for air velocity, time and lamp on/off status are displayed on it. Germicidal UV lamp, extra electrical socket and Magnehelic gauge are also fitted if required.

 

Germicidal UV lamp

UV lamp is an added option which is used to sterilize working area prior use. It is advised nocontact to made in chamber during this time. We are ISO and CE certified laminar air flow manufacturers and suppliers in India. Our company designs both types of horizontal and vertical laminar flow benches for laboratory uses that meet ISO (class 100) standards. Construction Details

iGene Labserve Ultra Low Deep Freezer is double walled cooled units. Outer body of our laboratory refrigerators are constructed out of thick PCRC, pre coated corrosion resistant GI sheet duly pre-treated with primers and rust proofing and painted with long lasting stove enamel or elegantly powder coated. The inner construction is made of stainless steel sheet-304. The 100 mm gap between the walls is filled high grade polyurethane insulation, which ensures maximum thermal efficiency. 

 

Cooling 

An energy efficient cooling unit is installed in our freezer. We use high end CFC free compressors, conforming to latest international standards and guidelines.
