Scope of Work – Sculptural Surface Restoration & Multicolour Painting The work includes complete preparation and restoration of the existing sculptural surface. Initially, all old, loose, flaking paint, dust, grease, and rust (wherever applicable) shall be thoroughly removed by mechanical cleaning/scraping/sanding to achieve a clean and stable base. Special attention will be given to anti-rust treatment on metallic portions to arrest further corrosion and enhance surface life. After surface preparation, a suitable anti-rust / weather-proof primer shall be applied as per the artwork base material (MS / GI / FRP / concrete, etc.) to ensure strong adhesion, moisture resistance, and long-term protection against environmental effects such as rain, heat, humidity, and UV exposure. Post priming, high-quality exterior-grade paints shall be applied in multiple coats using approved application methods (spray/roller/brush as required). Multicolour shades will be developed and applied carefully to achieve the intended artistic outcome, maintaining correct tones, highlights, and detailing as per design requirements. All paints and coatings used will be of proven durability, offering excellent colour retention, weather resistance, and surface protection, ensuring a long-lasting finish with extended service life in all weather conditions. Final output will provide an aesthetically accurate appearance along with robust protection of the sculpture for years to come.
