FEATURES:

  • The Lightning strikes are detected and monitored by LSC, which is able to give some information about the service necessity of the lightning system. By using an inductive record, the counter is able to accurately count all lightning events for a later reference
  • LSC works with an inductive effect of the lightning strike current. The events are monitored by a mechanical counter display
  • LSC is a serial counter with 6digit mechanical display unit
  • It detect the lightning currents, which is more than 2KA
  • LSC does not require any external power supply
  • The lightning event counter shall be installed to the manufacturers instructions in a readily accessible manner so that readings can be taken at regular intervals. It shall be positioned such that its operating temperature is in the range of 10 deg C to +50 deg C
  • The lightning event counter shall be robust, easy to install and housed in an IP67 rated enclosure. The counter shall operate from the energy of the lightning discharge and not rely on external or battery power to operate
