BULK GLAND SEALING COMPOUNDSConstruction:Combination of inert fibres & self-lubricating sealing materials. Available in 'Cake' or 'Stick' form. Six different grades.Advantages: Enables efficient sealing in cases where the fluid film is absent.Repairs grooved shafts by conforming to the surface. Resists cold and hot flow. As a preseat to flange gaskets on distorted surfaces.How to Enquire: In order to facilitate recommendation of the right grade of Inseal compound, please provide the following information: The medium, the operating parameters & details of the equipment.Clearances between the shaft & the throat bush, shaft & the gland follower, the gland follower & the gland box.Box Dimensions, shaft material, diameter & 'Run Out'.The above is indicative for all six grades. For special properties please contact our technical cell.How to Install :1). Install bottom 'Bull ring', followed by suitable Inmarco braided packing.2). Cut Inseal from cakes or use sticks in suitable sizes to fit into the stuffing box. Knead Inseal & insert.3). Consolidate using the split gland pusher and follower.4). Fill the stuffing box & top up with suitable retainer ring, followed by InmarcoNon Asbestos braided gland packings & tighten.5).
