The IES Series of Standard AC Motors range from 0.12kw to 200kW in frame sizes 63 to 315 and are available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 pole designs. IES Motors have IP55 protection, IC411 cooling, and IE2 Efficiency (where applicable). These motors are suitable for a variety of industrial, domestic, agricultural and other general purpose applications. They are characterized by streamlined design, efficient cooling and noiseless running and they confirm to all national and international standards.

IEC has developed a series of Battery Charging Alternators. These Alternators are primarily used in telecom towers, railways and hybrid power solutions where multiple sources like wind, solar, etc. are present to provide uninterrupted power on a large scale. Details will be posted shortly.

The INVAC series of variable speed AC drives are based on the IGBT inverter and a 16 bit micro-controller chip. They can operate standard induction motors with shaft outputs ranging from 0.75 KW to 100 KW as variable speed drives. The ECOVAC series of economical variable speed AC drives are based on the IPM inverter and a 16 bit micro-controller chip. They can operate standard induction motors with shaft outputs ranging from 0.75 KW to 1.5 KW as variable speed drives. The INVECTOR series of variable speed AC drives are Vector Controlled Drives using a 32 bit DSP chip. They can operate standard induction motors with shaft outputs ranging from 0.75 KW to 250 KW as variable speed drives in either the Vector Controlled mode or the V/f mode. The Front End Converter (FEC) is mainly employed in Four Quadrant applications that demand regeneration. The FEC converts AC to DC (during motoring) or DC to AC (during regeneration) and maintains a constant DC bus voltage irrespective of input voltage fluctuations. When the prime mover is in motoring mode, the FEC draws power from the mains and when it is in the generation mode, it feeds power back to the mains.
