A neutral Earthing resistor restricts the flow of current during an earth fault on an AC distribution system. It is connected between the neural point of a transformaer or generator and earth. Although a neutral earthing resistor will probably be active for just a few seconds during its operational life, it musc offer dependable protection at all time in case of fault. Application can be found in power distribution, mining and industrial installations, indoors and outdoors. The resistor bank has adequate trimming facility (coarse and fine) to maintain a constant current against falling voltage during discharge operation. D.C. contractors Circuit breakers or knife edge sitches are used for switching depending on clients preference. The Rate of Discharge can be accurately controlled and monitored in this system which is a distinct advantage over other conventional methods of Discharge.

Silicone Cement Coated Tabular Resistors from the most compact and reliable type of unit possible for rating from 10 Watt to 500 Watt. They are mechanically robust, constant in Ohmic Value and withstand the most severe conditions of humidity.
