Foam Filled Fenders

These fenders are manufactured from high quality foam covered by a tough Polyurethane skin. The performance can be modified by changing the grades of foam. Foam filled fenders can also be equipped with a chain and tire net for rough applications.

IRM Foam Filled fenders are manufactured from high quality foam covered by a tough Polyurethane skin. IRM manufactures Foam Filled Fender as an alternative to the standard Pneumatic Fender. The performance of foam filled fenders can be modified by changing the grades of foam. This also gives more flexibility to foam filled fenders in meeting different requirements of berthing energy and reaction force as compared to same size of fenders. Foam filled fenders can also be equipped with a chain and tire net for rough applications.

Since there is no air pressure inside the fender, there is no risk of deflating, bursting or sinking. As there are no end fittings like safety valves, ball valves etc., there is less maintenance required for Foam filled fenders compared to Pneumatic fenders. However, foam filled fender of higher size above 2.2 Meter diameter are generally more expensive when compared to Pneumatic fenders due to the high freight cost.

Grout Seals

Grout Seals are the superior alternative to Inflatable Grout Packers. These Grout Seals do not require any inflation system, thus they reduce installation cost and offer effective sealing.

Its unique design offers an extremely reliable sealing mechanism between the Pile & Jacket Leg. Grout Packers sometimes fails due to human error, breakage of inflation line during launching, puncture of packer while driving the pile. However, our Dual Lip Grout Seal Assembly is extremely reliable due to its unique cross section shape, which offers zero failure performance. These seals provide a unique solution for the grouting of the jacket legs. Our DIPTI make Grout Seals has proved its superiority by saving substantial cost of Grouting.

DIPTI Grout Seals are available in wide range from 24 inch OD to 144 inch OD Pile. Special sizes can also be manufactured as per clients requirements. DIPTI Grout Seal Assembly can also be supplied with suitable mud wiper to prevent mud penetration from the bottom side of jacket. Technical details of mud wiper can be furnished on request.

SHEAR FENDERS

They are generally used in offshore installations. DIPTI Shear fenders have got excellent mechanical properties and sea water resistance rendering it virtually maintenance free.

DIPTI DSQ series Shear Fenders are used to take berthing loads of Barge Bumpers / Boat landing structures axially and at the same time to absorb berthing energy laterally. They are generally used in offshore installations. These Fenders can also deflect more than 100% in Shear and absorb energy of lateral impact. DIPTI Shear fenders have got excellent mechanical properties and sea water resistance rendering it virtually maintenance free. Flat Board Fenders

They are used to protect the berthing structure and their concrete corners.

DIPTI Flat Board Fenders are generally used for fisheries harbor, small ferry wharfs or small boat jetties, where reactionforce and energy absorption are very low. These fenders are made of low friction rubber for the rough & tough use. They are used to act as a buffer cum rubbing strips between boats and the wharf. These fenders are extremely rugged, reliable and maintenance free.

DIPTI Flat Board Fenders have excellent sea water resistance for long life. They are produced by superior compression moulding process at very high pressure with controlled heating and cooling. The fenders can be manufactured in different lengths as per specific requirement.

DDA Fenders

These fenders can be used for all the applications like Arch fenders but are generally preferred for offshore applications. Performance characteristics of DDA fenders are quite similar to Arch Fenders.

DIPTI DDA series Fenders Type B offers excellent energy absorption capability with minimum transfer of frictional loads to the structure.

These fenders are supplied with frontal frames covered with low friction rubbing board which offers a unique solution to reduce the load on the fender after berthing the vessel. This additional fabricated assembly fitted on the face of the fender imparts more mechanical strength especially when belted vessels and other acute loadings are envisaged. These fenders are easy to install and virtually maintenance free.

These fenders are generally used for medium to large size of vessels in rough and tough applications. They are manufactured from specialized rubber compounds which adds to their sturdiness, thus giving it enhanced service life, excellent U.V resistance properties, resistance to ozone aging, and resistance to sea water.

Cone Fenders

Cone Fenders are compact fenders compared to Cell fenders. They have a higher Energy Absorption capacity for the same height. This is mainly due to the conical shape, which allows deflection up to 72%.

DIPTI DCN series Cone Fenders are compact fenders compared to Cell fenders. They have a higher Energy Absorption capacity for the same height. This is mainly due to the Conical shape, which allows deflection up to 72% .This advanced feature of Cone fenders improves the material handling capabilities of the deck/vessel cranes and hence reduces the overall cost of the project.

Cone fenders are also more stable at large compression angles and offer better shear resistance compared to any other fenders. Like cell fenders, cone fenders can also be equipped with frontal frames having low friction fascia pads to reduce the shear force as well as the hull pressure.

Cone fenders can be installed in configuration of single, dual or in multiple combination with a common frontal frame for optimizing the performance characteristics. These fenders are fitted with long frames to provide a larger contact area vertically for ports where there is a huge tidal variation.
