Bombshell Coating : This Special Purpose Machine is developed for internal lacquer coating of bombshells. At a time six shells are placed on the machine that are inter linked by gear mechanism. Air assisted guns one per bombshell is mounted at bottom side of machine. These guns having extended stem with angular tip move up inside the bombshell to coat the internal surface of the rotating bombshells.

Automation In Liquid Painting :
Introduction : Now a days for large production automation for liquid painting is more in demand. Except article loading & unloading all process are automatic. This saves labor and enhances quality in terms of consistency in coating thickness finish round the clock thought the year.
 
Special Purpose auto coating for shell :

• PerposecoatingAutomatic spraying system & auto turn table with indexing / spraying only when the article faces the auto gun. As per the process requirements, in automation mode, various interlocks are provided through HMI for article movement, spraying time, spray pattern height etc. Fire proof electrical connections are available. 5 Shells are mounted on one Turn Table with moving auto gun for continuous painting.
• Teflon coating on razor edge : teflonThe razor blades are staked & mounted on horizontal reciprocator which moves to and fro. Two electrostatic guns spray from opposite sides covering the edges. To smoothen the edge of razor a special type of Teflon is sprayed, which is charged electrostatically.

 
Auto Electrostatic S. S. Airless :
Vegetable Oil coating on Bread pan : In a bread industry, vegetable oil is sprayed on bread pans, as a releasing agent. Special type of food grade S.S. is used for auto electrostatic airless spray gun. Bread pans move on a ground conveyor and gun sprays oil from top. Auto airless is used for better edge coverage and to avoid contamination through compressed air.
 
Lacquer strip coating on food tin joint : LacquerIn canned food packing, the tin is having a welded joint which has to be sprayed by special type of food grade lacquer to mask it. Two automatic Airless guns are used to coat the joint from outside & inside in a strip form providing complete edge coverage. Contamination is avoided as the equipment is airless.
 
Horizontal Painting :

• horizontal_paintingHorizontal Painting - In case of Airless equipment.
• Nozzles can be fixed, in a pipe, mounted on top. Paint is fed through Airless Pump. A corrugated sheet moves below the nozzles and gets coated with Airless equipments. This can be mounted from bottom also.

 
Tablet Coating : For tablet coating with sugar solution specially designed drum type plant is used. In this a moving drum is mounted horizontally, and automatic spray guns are mounted from one side. Solution is sprayed from the gun and tablets are coated, which are continuously intermixed. After some time, all tablets receive coating. For drying purpose, hot air can be used in the drum.

 
Disc Applicator : Disc_applicatorIt is one of the auto applicator used when the production volumes are very high. The disc moves with a medium speed. The articles are conveyed around the rotating disk on an Omega shaped loop if the articles are simple, and a S-loop if the articles are difficult to coat. The disk is fixed in a special reciprocator that moves vertically inside the booth and the paint gets atomized from the edge of the disc.

Bell Applicator : Bell_applicatorArticle moves along straight conveyor and two bells on each reciprocator. Bells move with medium speed, and electrostatically charged paint gets atomized from the edges of bell. The articles are moved from the front of the bell applicator and get painted. The electrostatically charged paint covers the article easily and lees paint is wasted.

Rail Bogie Painting :      

• Customization : This is a very good example of rail coach customization, using Auto guns. In this, two vertical reciprocators with auto guns and one overhead reciprocator with circular movement of auto gun move across the length of coach. HMI - Color screen &article sensing is used i.e. if there is gap, it is sensed and the spraying is stopped.         
• Pneumatic Oscillator : It is a low cost automation. This type of oscillator can be suggested for the articles where small or medium components are coated. This reciprocator moves like an arc. Vertical circular Movement.      
• Pendulum Oscillator : A special purpose pendulum oscillator is used if article moves on ground conveyor. Presently this is established in textile industry. While fabric is being mixed on the conveyor, antistatic solution is sprayed to avoid the sticking of the fabric.

Applications :

• Fevicol spraying on ply wood.      
• Primer or coltar spraying on cement roof sheets. (Zig - Zag)      
• Primer or paint coating on S.S. sheets.      
• Horizontal circular Movement.     

Horizontal Reciprocator : EMR can-be mounted horizontally to coat, top / bottom side of the article. All type of guns can be mounted for operation. This type of reciprocator is used when the article orientation is not within the reach of the operator or vertical reciprocator is not feasible.
