Primary Belt Cleaner The primary belt cleaner are employed at the head pulley and most of the cleaning of belt is done at this stage. The cleaning at this stage is at the material drop zone, where the belt is cleaned with a minimum pressure, leaving few sticky materials on the belt. This primary belt cleaner are mounted just below the material flow trajectory.

Troughing idlers are fixed frame type idlers. This Troughing idler or idler set support the belt run on the carrying side. In this the center roller is horizontal and two side rollers with an inclination of 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 , 45 degrees & customized angle as per requirement. This angles of side roller are known as troughing angles. The use of troughing idler reduces pinching & belt fold up. The maintenance is easy, all three rollers are identical & interchangeable reducing the maintenance stock.

The impact idlers are used in the material feeding zone to support the conveyor belt on the running side. This impact idlers absorbs the impact by the material falling on the belt, protecting it from the wear & tear. The impact rollers are forced fitted with rubber ring made from natural / Synthetic / Neoprene material. The fixing arrangement and dimension of rings are suitably design for easy replacement and interchange ability which protect the belt by absorbing impact at loading point. 20, 35 and 45 degree Troughing Angle.

The V-trough idler is used as an alternative to three roll trough idler as same contain two rolls instead of three. This arrangement is generally used for less belt width & material of limited lump size.V-type Return Idler The v-type return idler is used to support the return belt run. This provide better alignment for the belt, compared with single roll return idler.

Flat return idlers have a single horizontally aligned roller to support the belt on the return run.

Garland idlers are 2, 3 or 5 roller, which are linked in series and suspended at the ends from the stringer. These arrangement of idlers looks like garland or catenary & thus called so. The idlers have flexibly connected rolls as well as it is also flexibly connected to the stringer. If a single roller is found defective then it can be replaced easily without stopping the whole conveyor system. These are lighter in weight compared to fixed frame idlers. Suitable for long conveyor systems.

The loading point is the most critical area of any conveyor system. The material drop height, its size & belt speed are the deciding factor on the life of a conveyor belt. The conventional method is to use roller support at the loading point, this gives rise to squeezing of conveyor belt due to the impact of the falling material. This effect can damage the belt as well as give rise to material spillage. All of these lead to seizure and breakdown of impact rolls, meaning severe.

Lagging is a process of applying a coating, cover on the wearing surface. Slippage of conveyor belt can cause substantial damage to the drive pulley and the conveyor belt. The damage to the system can consume significant breakdown time, leading to huge losses. The surrounding atmosphere also has a significant effect on the working of the system. The rain and sludge can cause slippage between belt and pulley, to overcome this problem the pulley is lagged with a rubber sheet, which increases the friction between two surfaces.

Skirt sealing is generally provided on both sides of the skirt board; however, for conveyors that are inclined upwards or for those handling fines, sealing of the rear of the belt is necessary. Rear skirt sealing is provided with a fixed length backing Skirt plate that is based on belt width. The height of the rubber blocks are 100 mm more than the standard size of the side skirt sealing to compensate for trough height. Belt Sway Switch is a protective switch for detecting the meandering (sway or deviation) of belt conveyors, and sends out an alarm signal and an emergency stop signal.Suited to be used for belt breakage prevention and orefalling prevention due to the belt sway. Widely used in iron and steel, cement and chemical plants, thermal power plants, etc., since it is essential for safety operation of belt conveyors. These Switches are designed for Man and Machine Safety, to avoid accidents, and for stopping the Machine in case of Emergency. In Belt Conveyors, belt swaying occurs due to uneven loading, misalignment of the idlers & due to worn surfaces. Belt Sway Switches are useful to restrict belt sway within the tolerable limits. Belt Sway Switch is mounted on both sides of belt conveyors preferably every 15 to 20 meters.

Pull Cord Switches are useful for emergency stopping of conveyors from any point by pulling the rope connected to the switch. Pull Cord Switch is mounted on both sides of belt conveyors preferably every 20 to 25 meters. Pull Cord Switch is an emergency switch to stop the belt conveyor instantly when an accident happens. Since the Pull Cord Switch is so designed that it should be installed at the side of belt conveyor and the pull cord should be mounted along conveyor, the switch can be actuated at any position.
