Rod Clamps

The Polished Rod Clamp is used to support the rod string while the weight is being carried by the bridle and carrier bar. There Clamps are available with one bolt or two bolt types. Clamp body is made from a high tensile heat treated AISI 1040 Forged Steel and is designed and machined to provide greater holding power.

AISI 4140 Alloy steel hinge pins are heat treated for greater strength and easy opening. The bolts, nuts and washers are made from high tensile heat treated steel and are cadmium plated for maximum corrosion resistance.

The clamping surface is bored and reammed to exact polished rod size for better clamping at 90 degree to the polished hole.

Pumping Tees

LAXMI Tees are available in two basic materials, Steel Forged and Ductile Iron. Every Tee is precision machined to assure proper center alignment of tubing, stuffing box, outlet and bleeder hole.

Threads are Zinc Phosphate Coated for better thread lubrication. 2 & 2.1/2 Forged Steel Tees and 3 Cast Steel Tees are available. 1 NPT standard bleeder port available on both type.

Coupling

LAXMI manufactures two type of coupling. Class T and Class S.M. All coupling are available in API full size and slim hole size. Coupling are made from Alloy Steel as per API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified. The couplings and sub coupling are effectively heat treated to achieve the specified mechanical properties. Both are machined on CNC machine to ensure face of coupling are perfectly at right angle to the axis. All dimensions are kept in accordance with API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified.
Threads of couplings are cold formed by thread rolling. Rolling the thread results in a compressive stress at the root of the thread and increase strength of threads. All dimensions are kept as per Table 7 and in accordance with API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified.

Stuffing Box

LAXMI Double Packing Stuffing Box are manufactured as per API 11B standard. Stuffing Box is good for in intermittent flow condition using split cone nitrile rubber high temperature packing (primary packing 3 pieces top, 1 piece bottom and blow out control system packing 2 pieces top, 1 piece bottom) rated at 250 F continuous service. Metallic compression plate and bolt type blow out control system. Const. Of split cone packing and metallic plate arrangement such that primary packing can be changed by tightening compression bolts so this double packing to prevent leakage and will permit packing change under pressure. Bottom connection available in 2.7/8 and 3.1/2 tubing size to accommodate Polish Rod of 1' through 1.3/4. Upper and lower gland are self aligning. Height above tee is 15 and working pressure is upto 2500 PSI.

Scratchers

These consists of a split collar which houses double coiled external and internal bristles. The external bristle system is incliend 20 and is shielded by slight elevations in the collar. The inclination of these bristles reduces the abrasive action when casing is run into the hole. The bristles are placed in a now position relative to the bore hole wall at each change of direction while moving pipe, thus assuring the cleaning of the entire circumference of the casing and the well bore. The internal bristles serve to remove mill scale and other foreign matter from the casing, improving the bounding of cement to the casing.

Rigid Centralizer

LAXMI Finned Type Rigid Centralizer is a slip-on centralizer consists of straight or spiral hollow steel fins welded to steel collars. The shape of fins are designed such that the drag force is minimal, enabling reciprocations and rotations while running pipe, thus, the centralizers can be glided smoothly in lower side of horizontal boreholes. The fins also have a pre-defined collapse load to yield under stuck pipe conditions. These centralizers have larger flow area which reduces the circulation pressure. These characteristics of Finned Type Rigid Centralizers makes them well suited for highly deviated or horizontal wells.

Casing Centralizers

LAXMI Non-Welded Casing Centralizers delivers excellent performance under compressive load and is suitable for standard application where, either no rotation is required or minimizing drag force is not a consideration. These Centralizers are Non-Welded & Hinged-type and are designed to keep all Lip integral with the End Collars. It has a interlocking between the End Collar and Bow, which makes it a strong single unit. Construction of the Centralizers ensures that hinges does not open while casing is being run, regardless of hole direction or irregularities in formations and that the centralizer will provide effective centering down the hole.

These centralizers are not optimized for open hole casing size combinations so they tend to be less expensive than other types.

Available from 4-1/2 size through to 30 casing size.

The LAXMI TUBING TONG has a sturdy design and tough construction. In order to meet the physical and mechanical properties of the Tubing Tong required for rugged dependable field service, it is made out of high grade Alloy Nickel Chromium Steel. Each part is separately heat treated in automatic controlled electric furnace to give the desired properties. Lift Subs

Casing Scrapper

LAXMI Casing Scraper is used to remove scale, cement sheath mud cake, rust, scate, perforation burrs and other substances from the inside wall of casing.

Casing Scraper is manufactured from forged heat treated alloy steel. The Scraper blades fit into machined recesses & are held by stopper & spacer. The Scraper Blade feature left hand helical grooves and are hardfaced for maximum service. There are sufficient blades in the body to completely scrape the entire 360 inside respective casing to achieve clean casing bore by reciprocation and or rotation.

Scraper to be installed in the drilling string between the bit and the bit sub. The bit is run below the scraper to serve as a guide and prevent plugging the circulation hole through the scraper.

Sinkar Bars

LAXMI Sinker Bars are use in any Rod system and exceptionally well in condition employing high volume displacement pump, large bore pump, pumping fluids of a viscous nature and wells with high degree of deviation.

Bars to be coupled on the bottom of the Rod String and so provide a mass of calculated weight directly above the pump. The application of such weight tends to eliminate the bending and buckling of the Rod String that usually occurs during the pumping cycle. This potential energy retains the rods in tension and consequently tends to eliminate the flexing which is a major cause of Rod fatigue, the pump's plunger travels more smoothly over a longer portion of its designed stroke length, the pump valves open quicker with less chatter, internal tubing wear is reduced.

Rod manufactured from hot rolled carbon manganese steel bars. All dimension and tolerances are as per API Spec.11B, latest edition. LAXMI Piston Rods are manufactured using high grade rolled & annealed steel alloy, precision machined to close tolerances and uniformly heat treated to achieved properties exceeding API 7K standards. Piston Rods are manufactured for both Low Pressure and High Pressure Mud Pumps. One end of the Piston Rods is taper machined to API Tapers to it's close tolerances, where as the concentricity is very closely maintained. Its Cross head connections are made to pump manufacturer's specs. Threads are precisely cut and are controlled by API Guages.

Sinkar Bars

LAXMI Sinker Bars are use in any Rod system and exceptionally well in condition employing high volume displacement pump, large bore pump, pumping fluids of a viscous nature and wells with high degree of deviation. Bars to be coupled on the bottom of the Rod String and so provide a mass of calculated weight directly above the pump. The application of such weight tends to eliminate the bending and buckling of the Rod String that usually occurs during the pumping cycle. This potential energy retains the rods in tension and consequently tends to eliminate the flexing which is a major cause of Rod fatigue, the pump's plunger travels more smoothly over a longer portion of its designed stroke length, the pump valves open quicker with less chatter, internal tubing wear is reduced. Rod manufactured from hot rolled carbon manganese steel bars. All dimension and tolerances are as per API Spec.11B, latest edition. All rolled bars are straightened and Inspection for Surface defects. Pin blanks are machined and dimension gauged. Pin threads are cold formed to increase fatigue life of threads.
