Tempered Glass

Heat Strengthened Glass:

Heat-Strengthened Glass is produced similarly to tempered glass. Heat-Strengthened Glass is approximately twice as strong as annealed glass with significantly greater resistance to thermal stress when compared to annealed glass of equal thickness. Heat-Strengthened Glass is NOT considered a Safety Glass product as defined by the above mentioned glass standards, and typically breaks into larger pieces than tempered glass.

Laminated From entrance doors and glass floors, to aquariums and display cases, laminated glass is the perfect safety solution. Two or more panes of glass are bonded together by a durable plastic interlayer, which enables the glass to strongly resist penetration by impacting objects. However, if it should break, the glass will tend to remain in its frame, minimizing the risk of injury from sharp edges and flying or falling glass particles.

• Extra clear patterned glasses are used in solar photovoltaics (crystalline and CIGS) and in solar thermal applications. Their pattern permits easy lamination, provides a non-blinding effect and contributes to better aesthetics of the solar modules.
