What is the product? It is a unique “Ready To Use Product” unlike the other Fungicide and is formulated to be used as “Targeted Fungicide Delivery Solution” and based on. Active Ingredient as the Active Ingredient to prevent and fight fungal attack Formic Acid as the carrier for the active ingredient, which is of value in Leather Tanning Product Usage FORMIPHEN PRESERVEX is uniquely designed with the Tanner in mind. There is NO DIRECT CONTACT or exposure of the Tanner to the Fungicide. FORMIPHEN PRESERVEX has a Chelating Action  which helps in removing metal ions present in traces in the leather substrate as well as from other sources. The deprives the fungi of Iron, Copper, Zinc, etc. which are required by the Fungi as micronutrients for growth, and causes CELL LYSIS for a more effective treatment. FORMIPHEN PRESERVEX can be used instead of and/or along with plain Formic Acid at the various stages of the tanning process in dosage recommended overleaf. FORMIPHEN PRESERVEX is a formulated to ensure that the fungicide is impregnated as well as absorbed both inside and on the surface of Leather, and the fungicide and is not easily discharged off in the subsequent stages of tanning processes to give A LONG-LASTING AND EFFECTIVE ANTI-FUNGAL TREATMENT. Formiphen Preservex has negligible leaching of the active ingredient in the effluent streams, as most of the active ingredient is absorbed on the Leather. Formiphen Preservex has an active Active Ingredient which is not identified to cause any Reproductive disorders, chronic long-term effects, is not bio accumulative and is not a Carcinogen.
