Uses of Amoxycillin 500mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg + Lactobacillus 60 million spores:
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that fights bacteria. Amoxicillin is used to treat many different types of infection caused by bacteria, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, gonorrhea, and infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract.

Side Effects of Amoxycillin 500mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg + Lactobacillus 60 million spores:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, indigestion, rash and urticaria, candida superinfection. Potentially Fatal: Anaphylactic reaction with CV collapse esp with parenteral use.

Drug Interactions of Amoxycillin 500mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg + Lactobacillus 60 million spores:
Allopurinol may reduce renal tubular secretion of amoxicillin thus increasing the serum levels of amoxicillin. Concurrent use may reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptives.

Contraindications of Amoxycillin 500mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg + Lactobacillus 60 million spores:
Penicillin allergy.

Mechanism of Action of Amoxycillin 500mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg + Lactobacillus 60 million spores:
Clavulanic acid has a high affinity for and binds to certain β-lactamases that generally inactivate amoxicillin by hydrolyzing its β-lactam ring. Combining clavulanate potassium with amoxicillin extends the antibacterial spectrum of amoxicillin to include many bacteria normally resistant to amoxicillin and other penicillins and cephalosporins. Distribution: Protein binding: About 25% (Clavulanic acid); about 18% (Amoxicillin). Amoxicillin distributes readily into most body tissues and fluids except the brain and spinal fluid. Excretion: Half-life after oral admin: 1.3 hr (Amoxicillin); 1 hr (Clavulanic acid). About 50-70% of amoxicillin and 25-40% of clavulanic acid are excreted unchanged in urine during the 1st 6 hr after admin.

Uese:
Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid is a penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic only treats bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

How to Use:

Take this medication by mouth with a meal or snack, usually every 8 or 12 hours, or as directed by your doctor.Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take this drug at evenly spaced intervals.Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Side Effects :

Diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting may occur during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. Take with food to minimize stomach upset. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact the doctor or pharmacist promptly.Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat or fever, dark urine, persistent nausea or vomiting, severe stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes or skin. This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea) due to a type of resistant bacteria. This condition may occur during treatment or weeks to months after treatment has stopped. Do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have any of the following symptoms because these products may make them worse. Tell your doctor immediately if you develop: persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain/cramping, or blood/mucus in your stool.Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in oral thrush or a new vaginal yeast infection (oral or vaginal fungal infection). Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms.A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. The amoxicillin in this combination medication can commonly cause a mild rash that is usually not serious. However, you may not be able to tell it apart from a rare rash that could be a sign of a severe allergic reaction. Therefore, seek immediate medical attention if you develop any rash. This is not a complete list of possible side effects.

Thus, aceclofenac has +ve effects on cartilage anabolism combined with modulating effect of matrix catabolism. Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic action with weak anti-inflammatory activity. It produces analgesia by increasing pain threshold and antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre. Absorption: Aceclofenac: Rapidly absorbed; almost 100% bioavailability; peak plasma levels reached about 1.25-3 hr after oral admin. Distribution: Aceclofenac: >99.7% bound to plasma proteins; distributes into synovial fluid. Paracetamol: Distributes throughout most fluids of the body. Disclaimer: Our goal is to provide you with the most relevant and current information. However, because drugs affect each person differently, we cannot guarantee that this information includes all possible side effects. This information is not a substitute for medical advice. Always discuss possible side effects with a healthcare provider who knows your medical history.

Important warnings

  • Severe diarrhea warning: Rabeprazole raises your risk of severe diarrhea. This diarrhea is caused by infection of the intestines by bacteria (Clostridium difficile). Talk to your doctor if you have watery stool, stomach pain, or a fever that doesn’t go away.
  • Bone fractures warning: If you take several daily doses of rabeprazole for a long period of time (1 year or longer), your risk of fractures of the hip, wrist, or spine is increased. This drug should be used at the lowest dose possible. It should also be used for the shortest time needed.
  • Low magnesium levels warning: Rabeprazole can cause low levels in your body of a mineral called magnesium. This usually happens after 1 year of treatment. However, it can occur after you take rabeprazole for 3 months or longer. Low magnesium levels may not cause any symptoms, but serious side effects can occur. These can include muscle spasms, abnormal heart rhythms, or seizures.
  • Cutaneous lupus erythematosus and systemic lupus erythematosus warning: Rabeprazole can cause cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). CLE and SLE are autoimmune diseases. Symptoms of CLE can range from a rash on the skin and nose, to a raised, scaly, red or purple rash on certain parts of the body. Symptoms of SLE can include fever, tiredness, weight loss, blood clots, heartburn, and stomach pain. If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor.
  • Fundic gland polyps warning: Long-term use (especially over one year) of rabeprazole can cause fundic gland polyps. These polyps are growths on the lining of your stomach that can become cancerous. To help prevent these polyps, you should use this drug for as short a time as possible.

Emegesic- S Tablets

  • Composition of Product Diclofenac Pot. 50 mg + Serratiopeptidase 10 mg
  • Pack Size 10X10
  • Pack Type Blister
  • Therapeutic Classification Anti-spasmodic
  • Form Tablets
  • Storage store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight

Uses

  • Diclofenac is used to relieve pain and swelling (inflammation) from various mild to moderate painful conditions. It is used to treat muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and sports injuries. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
  • If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section.
  • How to use Diclofenac Potassium
  • Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start using diclofenac and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Take this medication by mouth with a full glass of water (8 ounces /240 milliliters) unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this drug. To prevent stomach upset, take this medication with food, milk, or an antacid.
  • There are different brands and forms of this medication available. Because different brands deliver different amounts of medication, do not switch brands of diclofenac without your doctor's permission and directions.
  • The dosage is based on your medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you may be taking. Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products). To minimize side effect risks (such as stomach bleeding), use this medication at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible length of time. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed. For chronic conditions such as arthritis, continue taking it as directed by your doctor. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • For certain conditions (such as arthritis), it may take up to 2 weeks of regular use before the full benefits of this drug take effect.
  • If you are taking this drug on an "as needed" basis (not on a regular schedule), remember that pain medications work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. If you wait until the pain has worsened, the medication may not work as well.

  • This medication may raise your blood pressure. Check your blood pressure regularly and tell your doctor if the results are high.
  • Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: hearing changes (such as ringing in the ears), mental/mood changes, difficult/painful swallowing, symptoms of heart failure (such as swelling ankles/feet, unusual tiredness, unusual/sudden weight gain).
  • Get medical help right away if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), unexplained stiff neck.
  • This drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Get medical help right away if you have any symptoms of liver damage, including: dark urine, persistent nausea/vomiting/loss of appetite, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes or skin.

  • This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
See also Warning section.

  • Before taking diclofenac, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to aspirin or other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or if you plan to become pregnant. During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. It is not recommended for use during the first and last trimesters of pregnancy due to possible harm to the unborn baby and interference with normal labor/delivery.

Emeflox-200 Tablets

  • Composition of Product Ofloxacin 200 mg
  • Pack Size 10X10
  • Pack Type Blister
  • Therapeutic Classification Antibiotic
  • Form Tablets
  • Storage store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight

Uses

  • This medication is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Ofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
  • This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.

How to use Ofloxacin

  • Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start taking ofloxacin and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually twice a day (every 12 hours). The dosage and length of treatment is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
  • Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
  • Take this medication at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking other products that may bind to it, decreasing its effectiveness. Ask your pharmacist about the other products you take. Some examples include: quinapril, sucralfate, vitamins/minerals (including iron and zinc supplements), and products containing magnesium, aluminum, or calcium (such as antacids, didanosine solution, calcium supplements).
  • For the best effect, take this antibiotic at evenly spaced times. To help you remember, take this medication at the same time(s) every day.
  • Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may result in a return of the infection.
  • Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Side Effects
See also Warning section.

  • Upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, or trouble sleeping may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
  • Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: easy bruising/bleeding, signs of a new infection (such as new/persistent fever, persistent sore throat), signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), signs of liver problems (such as unusual tiredness, stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine).
  • Get medical help right away if you have any very serious side effects, including: hearing changes, unsteadiness, severe dizziness, fainting, fast/irregular heartbeat.
  • This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea) due to a type of resistant bacteria. This condition may occur during treatment or weeks to months after treatment has stopped. Tell your doctor right away if you develop: persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain/cramping, blood/mucus in your stool.
  • Do not use anti-diarrhea or opioid medications if you have any of these symptoms because these products may make them worse.
  • Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in oral thrush or a new yeast infection. Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge, or other new symptoms.
  • A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
  • This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
See also Warning section.

  • Before taking ofloxacin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other quinolone antibiotics (such as ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
  • Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: seizure disorder, conditions that increase your risk of seizures (such as brain/head injury, brain tumors), nerve problems (such as peripheral neuropathy), kidney disease, liver disease, mental/mood disorders (such as depression), myasthenia gravis, joint/tendon problems (such as tendonitis, bursitis).
  • Ofloxacin may cause a condition that affects the heart rhythm (QT prolongation). QT prolongation can rarely cause serious (rarely fatal) fast/irregular heartbeat and other symptoms (such as severe dizziness, fainting) that need medical attention right away.
  • The risk of QT prolongation may be increased if you have certain medical conditions or are taking other drugs that may cause QT prolongation. Before using ofloxacin, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all the drugs you take and if you have any of the following conditions: certain heart problems (heart failure, slow heartbeat, QT prolongation in the EKG), family history of certain heart problems (QT prolongation in the EKG, sudden cardiac death).
  • Low levels of potassium or magnesium in the blood may also increase your risk of QT prolongation. This risk may increase if you use certain drugs (such as diuretics/"water pills") or if you have conditions such as severe sweating, diarrhea, or vomiting. Talk to your doctor about using ofloxacin safely.
  • This medication may rarely cause serious changes in blood sugar, especially if you have diabetes. Check your blood sugar regularly as directed and share the results with your doctor. Watch for symptoms of high blood sugar, such as increased thirst/urination. Also watch for symptoms of low blood sugar such as sudden sweating, shaking, fast heartbeat, hunger, blurred vision, dizziness, or tingling hands/feet. It is a good habit to carry glucose tablets or gel to treat low blood sugar. If you don't have these reliable forms of glucose, rapidly raise your blood sugar by eating a quick source of sugar such as table sugar, honey, or candy, or by drinking fruit juice or non-diet soda. Tell your doctor right away about the reaction and the use of this product. To help prevent low blood sugar, eat meals on a regular schedule, and do not skip meals. Your doctor may need to switch you to another antibiotic or adjust your diabetes medications if any reaction occurs.
  • This drug may make you dizzy. Alcohol or marijuana can make you more dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you can do it safely. Limit alcoholic beverages. Talk to your doctor if you are using marijuana.
  • Ofloxacin may cause live bacterial vaccines (such as typhoid vaccine) to not work as well. Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to.
  • This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Limit your time in the sun. Avoid tanning booths and sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. Tell your doctor right away if you get sunburned or have skin blisters/redness.
  • Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).
  • Children may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, especially joint/tendon problems.
  • Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, such as tendon problems (especially if they are also taking corticosteroids such as prednisone or hydrocortisone) and QT prolongation (see above).
  • During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
  • This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Highlights for Fluconazole
Fluconazole oral tablet is available as both a generic and a brand-name drug. Brand name: Diflucan.
Fluconazole comes as a tablet or suspension you take by mouth. It also comes in an injectable form that can only be given to you by a healthcare provider.
Fluconazole oral tablet is used to prevent and treat candidiasis, a fungal infection. It’s also used to treat meningitis (infection of the brain or spinal cord, or both).

Important warnings
Liver failure warning. This drug may cause you to develop liver failure. Your doctor may check your liver function with blood tests while you take this drug. If you develop liver failure from taking this drug, it’s usually reversible once you stop taking it.
Skin rashes warning. This drug can cause a severe rash that can cause death. You should stop taking the drug if you develop any rashes.
Irregular heart rhythm warning. This drug can change how your heart beats. This change puts you at risk for a life-threatening heart rhythm condition called torsades de pointes. Your risk of heart rhythm problems is higher if you were born with a certain heart rhythm condition, you have a low potassium level, or you take antipsychotic drugs or certain antidepressants.

What is fluconazole?
Fluconazole is a prescription drug. It comes as a tablet or suspension you take by mouth.
Fluconazole oral tablet is available as both a generic drug, and as the brand-name drug Diflucan.
Generic drugs usually cost less than the brand-name version. In some cases, they may not be available in all strengths or forms as the brand-name drug.

Why it's used
Fluconazole is used to prevent and treat candidiasis. This condition is caused by infection with one of the many types of the fungus Candida. Examples of candidiasis include vaginal yeast infection, as well as oral yeast infection (thrush).
Candidiasis can also cause infections on other parts of your body, including your throat, esophagus, lungs, and blood. People who have had bone marrow transplants may be treated with fluconazole to prevent candidiasis. This is because their immune systems are weakened, which makes them more likely to become infected with a severe form of candidiasis.
Fluconazole is also used to treat meningitis (infection of the brain and spinal cord) that’s caused by the fungus Cryptococcus.

How it works
Fluconazole belongs to a class of drugs called triazole antifungals. A class of drugs is a group of medications that work in a similar way. These drugs are often used to treat similar conditions.
Fluconazole works by blocking the ability of the fungi Candida and Cryptococcus to reproduce. For people with infections from these fungi, this drug helps to get rid of the infection. For people at higher risk of candidiasis, it helps to prevent infection.

Fluconazole side effects
Fluconazole isn’t known to cause drowsiness, but it can cause other side effects.

The more common side effects of fluconazole oral tablet depend on how much of the drug you need to take. These side effects can include:

  • headache
  • diarrhea
  • nausea or upset stomach
  • dizziness
  • stomach pain
  • vomiting
  • changes in the way food tastes
  • severe rash in people with lowered immunity

If these effects are mild, they may go away within a few days or a couple of weeks. If they’re more severe or don’t go away, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Night Commando 100 Tablets

  • Composition of Product Sildinafil Citrate 100 mg
  • Pack Size 10X10
  • Pack Type Alu-Alu
  • Therapeutic Classification Erectile Dysfuntion
  • Form Tablets
  • Storage store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight

Introduction:
Sildenafil citrate 50 mg is the recommended starting dose for men with erectile dysfunction (ED); however, most men are later titrated to sildenafil 100 mg for improved efficacy.

Aim:
Assess the tolerability and efficacy of sildenafil initiated at the 100-mg dose in men with ED.

Methods:
Men with ED (score < or =25 on the Erectile Function domain of the International Index of Erectile Function) who had received < or =6 total doses of a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor and none within 4 weeks were randomized to 8 weeks of double-blind, placebo-controlled (DBPC), fixed-dose treatment (50 or 100 mg sildenafil or placebo) followed by 4 weeks of open-label flexible-dose sildenafil (50 or 100 mg).

Main Outcome Measures:
Efficacy, tolerability, treatment satisfaction, and other end points were measured at baseline and/or the end of the double-blind and open-label phases and compared between placebo and sildenafil initiated at doses 100 mg.

Results:
Improvements in DBPC patient-reported outcomes from baseline were statistically significant for both sildenafil 100 mg compared with placebo. At the end of DBPC treatment, 56% of men on the 100-mg dose felt no anxiety about the next intercourse attempt compared with 39% in the 50-mg group (odds ratio 2.03; P = 0.0197). Changes in functional scores from baseline were not statistically significant with the 100-mg dose compared with the 50-mg dose in the DBPC. Measures of treatment satisfaction and sexual experience significantly favored the 100-mg dose compared with the 50-mg dose in the DBPC. There was no increase in adverse events with the higher dose.

Conclusions:
Sildenafil at 100 mg significantly improved erection quality, treatment satisfaction, anxiety levels, and the sexual experience compared with placebo during DBPC. Sildenafil 100 mg improved the sexual experience and treatment satisfaction, and reduced feelings of anxiety compared with the 50-mg dose.
