Rice Husk Ash is manufactured by Dr. R.N. Krishna Ph.D., (Civil Engineer) a specialist in the field of admixtures and concrete technology. Hyper 2000 Rice Husk Ash contains a special blend of siliceous aggregates & abrasion resistant material and inert fillers and when added to cement greatly improves the durability properties of mortar or concrete. The resultant mix with Hyper 2000 exhibits the following properties

  • Reduced heat of hydration and hence reduced initial shrinkage
  • Increased water impermeability/chemical resistance/long-term compressive strength
Applications:
  • Hyper 2000 when used for external and internal plastering to brick masonry/concrete makes the mortar surface crack-free
  • Hyper 2000 when used in concrete roofs and basement walls make the concrete highly impermeable and, therefore, a water-tight structure is obtained along with a marked improvement in the long term strength
  • Hyper 2000 can also be used as a coating on Brick-jelly concrete weathering course and in bedding mortar for laying and pointing weathering tiles. Hyper 2000 is also compatible with lime and can be used for all lime mortar applications. Therefore it is ideal for use in restoration of heritage buildings and monuments
  • Hyper 2000 when used in concrete floors make it highly resistant to sulphate and chloride attack and a wide range of alkali chemicals including urea, molasses, sodium hydroxide, etc., and weak acids
  • Hyper 2000 can be mixed with cement for use as a durable mortar/concrete in repair and restoration
  • Hyper 2000 water proof coating system is a ready to use brush-on application for all concrete/masonry surfaces to achieve a high degree of water impermeability and chemical resistance against waste effluents, cleaning agents etc like mild acids, alkalis. The thickness of coating depends on the conditions and requirements of the surface to be protected. The consumption of Hyper 2000 depends largely upon the method of application, the porosity of the coated surface. Approx. 1 Kg covers 70-80 Sq. m: area
  • Hyper 2000 can, therefore, be used in a wide variety of areas including building structures, industrial structures, fertilizer godowns, textile, leather and similar chemical industries, sugar, cement and paper plants, effluent treatment plants, marine structures etc
  • Hyper 2000 to be mixed with cement in 1:1 proportion-that is mix one part by volume of Hyper 2000 with 1 part of cement. Mix the Hyper 2000 + cement mix thoroughly. Add water to the to the mix till a cement slurry consistency is formed. ADD around 300 ml of Hyper bonding agent per litre of the Cement-Hyper slurry. Mix well and coat the slurry with brush or roller as required. The coating can be applied over all types of cemented surfaces/brick masonry, etc.
