Before entry into the reaction zone (falling film tubular heat exchanger), the HCL and H2SO4 feeds are mixed. Further, before discharge, the spent sulphuric acid from the bottom of the falling film tubular exchanger is cooled in the heat exchanger. The liquid cooler uses cooling water for cooling duty. The HCL gas that generates in the falling film tubular heat exchanger comes in contact with concentrated H2SO4 in the drying.

In most applications, the steep walls keep the inside surfaces of the distillation chamber free of sludge build-up for maximum heat transfer from the hot oil media, and assists in discharging the sludge from a bottom mounted 6" discharge valve. Use : Our Solvent Recovery System is utilized for waste streams which are not prone to hardening in the presence of liquid solvent, and provides ease of residue removal.
