Flanges are piping components used for connecting pipes which needs dismantling & periodic maintenance, other piping components like valves, specialties, instrument items like orifice, flow meters etc on to the pipes. A flange is a Ring, Collar, Round Sheet type used to assemble pipes or components, for blocking of pipes or flow etc. There are different sizes and dimensions as per different standards requirements. KPS Forge has abilities to forge all kind of flanges in all grades. The different flanges we manufacturing are: Weld-Neck Flange The weld neck (or welding neck) flange is bored to the ID of the pipe and has a high neck to which pipe is welded. Probably the best welding flange available because of its high, heavy neck. Used wherever a sound welded joint connection is needed. Slip-On Flange The slip-on flange has a low hub and is bored slightly larger than the OD of the pipe. This flange is welded on both inside and outside of the flange face to prevent leakage. Used in lieu of welding necks when cost or space is a major consideration. Threaded Flange Like Slip-on except bore of this flange is threaded to match the pipe size. Used for low pressure systems and where welding could be hazardous. Socket Weld Flange The socket weld flange is bored to the ID of the pipe and counter bored slightly larger than the OD of the pipe to allow the pipe to be inserted and welded in place. Lap joint Flange Bored slightly larger than the OD of the pipe, the radius on the bottom matches the radius on the stub end. It is slipped over the pipe and a stub end is welded onto the pipe. The flange is then slipped over the stub end and bolted up. Used for systems that need frequent cleaning and/or inspection. Blind Flange This flange is a solid circle drilled to match a companion flange. Used to shut off or blank off piping. Custom Flange Standards: We are manufacturing flanges as per different international standards as well as per Customer requirements.

Fittings are most commonly used with pipes or flanges to direct, reduce or block flow of fluid inside pipe. Currently, we are manufacturing fittings as per ANSI B16.11. The different fitting we manufacturing are: Elbow Elbows are split into three groups, which define the distance over which they change direction; short radius elbow （SR elbow）, long radius elbow (LR elbow, customized radius elbow. Based on the angle change of the elbow direction, the elbows also are divided: 90 degree elbow, 45 degree elbow, 180 degree elbow (return elbow), elbows in any degree. Tee The pipe tee is a type of pipe fitting; it is t-shaped with two outlets, which are 90° direction change to the main line. Regarding the sizes of the main pipe and branch pipe, the tees are commonly divided to two kinds: equal tee and reducing tee also called unequal tee. The equal tee is manufactured with three same size outlets. The reducing tee is manufactured with the branch outlet smaller than the main pipe to obtain the desired flow and pressure in the piping system. Reducer A pipe reducer is the component in the piping system to connect two pipes with different sizes. Here are two kinds of pipe reducer: concentric reducer and eccentric reducer. Concentric reducers are used to join pipe or tube sections on the same centreline. An eccentric reducer is manufactured with the smaller end and large end not in an axis, which allows the two ends align with one side. The eccentric reducers used to connect different sized pipes. End Cap/Pipe Cap it is used to block off the end of a piping system by placing the cap over the open pipe. it is commonly made from the steel plates. the pipe end caps are available in various shapes, like the hemispherical, oval, round etc Nipple A nipple is a short length of steel pipe, with male threads on the ends. It is one of the most popular used pipe fittings for connecting two pipes or fittings. Commonly based on the different ends, there are toe pipe nipple (thread one end), TBE pipe nipple (thread both ends), PBE pipe nipple (plain both ends), there are round pipe nipple, hex nipple and swage nipple(it has different sizes of two ends). Coupling Pipe coupling (pipe socket) is a kind of pipe fitting to joint two pipes or fittings, and the body is like a short pipe with a socket on one end or both ends. The connection methods could be thread. Commonly the coupling has two ends of female thread, it is the full coupling. If one end of a coupling is plain end, it is a half coupling. Weldolet/ Sockolet/ Thredolet Weldolet is an economical butt-welds branch connection, is designed to minimize stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement manufactured to meet specific reinforcement requirements. The weldolet and the sockolet both have a run end and a branch end. The run end connects to the larger diameter pipe, and the branch end connects to the smaller diameter pipe. The connection to the run pipe is a fillet weld for both the weldolet and the sockolet. They differ, however, at the connection to the branch pipe. The weldolet has a bevelled end to butt weld to the branch pipe (which will also have a bevelled end), whereas the sockolet has a socket into which a plain end branch pipe is inserted, then fillet welded together. Threedolet differ by threading like thread flange.

Gate and Globe Valves Gate & Globe valve forgings comes in a set of 2 pieces (Body + Bonnet) with sizes ranging from ½" (15mm) to 2" (50mm) wherein a maximum pressure rating of class 2500 can be achieved. Besides of above, we can also supply 3 valve 'T' type manifolds, 5 valve 'H' type manifold, auto shut-off valves or any other custom profile forging up to 30 kg.
