We are offering high alumina ceramic tubes. High temperature industrial processes require components that perform reliably in stringent operating conditions. Our comprehensive range of thermocouple tubes are ideally suited for temperature measurement in applications such as steel melting and industrial heating furnaces having operating conditions up to 1800°c. Our tubes provide protection to the measuring sensors from a corrosive atmosphere and simultaneously protect the thermocouple sensors against mechanical damage. As these tubes have a fine grain structure, they are impervious and non-porous with the following attributes:- thermal shock resistant high temperature resistant corrosion resistant high thermal conductivity the choice of a thermocouple tube material depends upon the operating environment in which the tubes are to be deployed. Depending on these conditions and expected properties, alumina or mullite are best suited as the preferred material of construction. The mullite (silicaalumina) protection tubes have excellent thermal shock resistance and good mechanical strength. They perform well in an oxidizing atmosphere, and provide a marginal cost advantage to alumina. However for very high temperature measurement applications high alumina thermocouple tubes are sturdier and thus recommended.
