Dynamic Braking is a form of electrical braking of electrical motors. Dynamic Braking Resistors (DBRs) are used to absorb the energy generated when stopping electrical motors. They are designed to absorb this energy and to cool down quickly between stops.

Starting and speed control of AC Slip Ring motors with Resistors is a universal method. The resistor is used to limit the inrush current and control the torque and speed characteristics of an AC Slip Ring Motor.

Automatic Stator Rotor Starters for slip ring motors comprise of Air Break Control Panel and Air Cooled Starting Resistance Box. They find wide applications in all type of industries, wherever heavy duty slip ring motors are installed.

NGR & NIS PANEL normally consist of two separate cubicles attached to each other. The Resistance cubicle consists of number of Resistance Assemblies (Tiers) mounted one atop other and supported on HT Post Insulators. The enclosure is fitted with covers, provided with louvers and wiremesh. A Space Heater is provided to prevent condensation of moisture.
