Aluminium Bus bars are provided with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves

The material used for Bus Bar support is non-hygroscopic SMC for better mechanical strength to cope up with specified fault current.

TheResistance Boxesare used for heavy duty requirements of controlling the current in the circuit for various applications.
Starting and speed control of AC Slip Ring motors with Resistors is a universal method. The resistor is used to limit the inrush current and control the torque and speed characteristics of an AC Slip Ring Motor.
By changing the resistance in the Rotor Circuit in various steps (thru a Contactor), the starting torque and speed of the motor can be controlled to the desired value.

Load Bank

Load Bank Resistors are used to act as resistive loads for testing critical power supply sources .

Typical applications are :

Testing batteries

Periodic testing of standby generator sets

Factory testing of generator sets

UPS System testing

Balancing diesel generator loads for cleaner air emissions.

Load Banks having different steps of resistance, can be supplied alongwith associated control panels to switch on resistance values, as required , to test different capacity of generators / transformers with the same Load Bank.

AC & DC Load Banks are manufactured as per Customers' requirements in various ratings ranging from 1 KW to 3000 KW.

Load Banks are designed for natural air cooled or for forced air cooling, depending on the wattage rating, to minimise the size and cost of the system. A Blower (Exhaust fan), mounted on a frame structure, is provided in the bottom of the Load Bank for upwards flow of air draught. The top of the Load Bank is provided with a wire mesh for a free air flow.
