Our Products
BILZ Precision Leveling Wedges are manufactured in three different models; free standing (PK Series), bolt-on to the machine (PKA eries), bolt-through to the floor, foundation (PKD Series). This design permits the highest precision leveling range, to within 0.0004" (0.01mm). Our self-locking design prevents creep from the installed position. Large support surfaces provide optimum foundation support and rigidity. Any of the BILZ Isolation materials can be bonded to the and/or bottom of the levelingwedge to provide the required vibration isolation.Machine leveling with Bilz leveling wedges is very fast and efficient, especially when compared to other machine levelers or leveling feet. The full weight of the machine can be applied directly to the leveling wedge and the leveling wedge can be adjusted to level the machine. This allows you to reduce the time needed for rented equipment such as portable cranes and fork lifts. Once the machine is set onto the leveling wedges, initial adjustments of the leveling wedges can be carried out with a torque wrench to assure that equal loading is applied to each leveling wedge. A precision machinist level can then be used to finely adjust each leveling wedge to accurately level themachine to within 0.0004" (0.01mm).
Precision Leveling Wedge, Series PK (free-standing)BILZ Precision Leveling Wedges PK are used where a firm mounting with the machine is not required. The high coefficient of friction of the isolation materials and anti-skid pads keep the machine in place.
Precision Leveling Wedge, Series PKA (bolt-on)BILZ precision leveling wedges PKA are used where a firm machine mount is required. Preferably on machines with a high axial thrust such as die casting machines, injection machines, shock testing machines, and cold extrusion presses etc.
Notice: We are always pleased to fulfill special requests!
BILZ precision leveling wedge PKAK / PKDK are used to compensate angular differences between machines and foundations. Especially for machines with a long bed and high .demands in alignment
Amada America's optional Amada Machine Mounts (Spherical Seat Wedges) for installation on their 30 and 50 ton turret punch presses is the Bilz model PKDK with spherical seating and bolt through options.
AMT Series N neoprene mounts allow excellent attenuation of medium to high frequency vibration and noise generated from a wide range of motor driven machines particularly axial and centrifugal fans.
Series N mounts are used to isolate a wide range of equipment and can be bolted to equipment mounting holes with the supplied cap screw and washer. However it is not necessary to bolt these mountings to the floor on most installations. They can be used under flat bases that have no bolt holes in much the same manner as rubber pads. The mounting may be inverted so that the rectangular rubber covered steel base plate provides support over a large area.
Application
Advantage
AMT Machine Fixator is a one stop solution for precise yet cost efficient installation of heavy machinery and equipments.
AMT Machine Fixators are available in two basic designs: bolt-through and bolt-on. The "bolt-through"design has a clearance hole for an anchor bolt to securely anchor machines to the floor or foundation. The "bolt-on" design comes with fasteners and is designed for free-standing installations. The "bolt-on" design also is available with a anti-skid rubber base version for vibration isolation.
AMT Machine Fixators are based on double wedge principle. This involves the use of two wedges to provide leveling, rather than one. Both wedges move towards or away from the loading centre symmetrically. Equalizing these forces around the center results in an absolute rigid and stable anchoring system. As there is equal load distribution through two lifting wedges, the force required to raise or lower a machine is halved, resulting in effortless and precision leveling.

AMT C series cushy foot mounts employ the well proven inclined rubber element design to achieve much higher deflections compared to simple rubber in compression devices and therefore superior isolation of low frequency vibration.
These mounts consists of two rubber sandwich pieces housed in specially designed robust iron casting. The mountings are protected against oil, physical & mechanical damages. AMT Cushy Foot Mounts give insulation against transverse, vertical and longitudinal stiffness, vibration & reduces transmission of vibrations, structure borne noise & shock from a wide range of rotating and reciprocating machineries. These mounts have very low natural frequencies and possess good lateral stability.
Advantages
Applications
LTH-Insulated Tables
Plate: Granite
Adjustable feet
Torsion proofed, welded steel frame
Membrane air-spring insulators BiAir (vertical natural frequency approx. 2 Hz) between frame and plate
Mechanical-pneumatic level control (level accuracy of 1/100 mm or 1/10 mm)
Plate in granite (LTH)
BILZ insulated table LTH is a vibration insulated workplace. Vibration of the surrounding area is insulated by high efficient membrane air springs. The level controller (mechanical-pneumatic valves) will maintain a level accuracy of 1/100 mm or 1/10 mm automatically even while the loading may change. An air regulator with water trap and air filter is included.
As standard the insulated table is available in 3 different sizes. We are always pleased to fulfill custom made sizes and colours. The work surface of the table can be delivered in granite (LTH).
Range of Application
Vibration sensitive measuring and testing machines, laser, scales, optical and electronically as well as medical equipment. The new insulated table LTH is used for all applications where vibrations or load changes may disturb the experiment or machine.
Special dimensions
When desired it is possible to supply special dimensions, higher loads, stainless steel solutions, honeycomb structure plates.
We use the most modern measurement equipment (FFT-Analyzer + PC calculation programs). Our decades of experience in the field of vibration technology guarantees technically and economically reliable solutions for your problems.
The first step is to determine the maximum measured vibrations for each of the three vectors x, y and z. The largest of the three values is to be compared to the limit curve graph of the machine.
It is typically necessary to conduct measurements at the location of the future installation of such machines in order to guarantee that existing floor vibrations do not exceed the maximum allowed values. Vibrational accelerations are measured within a defined frequency range, (1-100 Hz) as a simple sum value measurement cannot provide a sufficient amount of information about the exact conditions. Evaluation of the force-distance signal is conducted with a Fast Fourier Analyzer thatdisplays a measured value for each frequency of the spectrum. (vibration acceleration in g). In case of preinstalled machines, vibration analysis will help determine the type of anti vibration solution that needs to be applied.
Very precise vibration analysis in the lower frequency range can be conducted with a highly-sensitive geophone. Vibration speeds of under 0.01m/s in the range of 0.2 to 30Hz can be recorded with a geophone. Especially in the semiconductor, nanotechnology, and ultra-precise 3D measurement industries it is necessary to conduct very precise vibration measurements in order to guarantee an optimal and client-specific configuration.

BILZ vibration isolation (anti-vibration) pad materials are highly developed, designed to solve problems caused in many industrial sectors by vibrations and structure borne noise. Made from a precise combination of nitrile rubber, cork particles and cross linked polyester fibers, these high grade compound materials possesses excellent physical and mechanical properties.
One major advantage of these new compound materials are their resistance to modern cooling lubricants; the mountings can be used in oil sumps without any loss of their physical properties. Particularly worth mentioning are the superb “compression set” values. These are extremely important, for example, if modern machine tools are to be mounted in isolation while ensuring long term geometric position. 8 different types of pads provide the technically optimal solution to almost any vibration problem. The primary aim in the development of these vibration materials was to provide specific solution for a wide range of machinery for e.g. lathes, milling machines and grinding machines, as well as presses and feed press.
Resistance to Aging
The service life of these mounting pads is nearly unlimited if the load values are observed. No permanent deformation will result.

Range of Application
Optimal active vibration isolation performance for machines with high dynamic forces that are performing sensitive measurements and inspections, lithography equipment, laser machines, high resolution electron microscopes, interferometer, & machinery for the semiconductor industryThe Active vibration isolation system AIS is utilized when the efficiency of isolation and the settling time of conventional air spring with electro-pneumatic leveling systems is insufficient.
Active Vibration Isolation System AIS has two primary functions :One function is to protect the precision machine from floor vibration. The other primary function is to improve the performance of the machine by minimizing structure borne vibration created by the high dynamic forces produced during an acceleration or deceleration of a moving mass within the machine. In addition, settling time is reduced which minimizes the delay time before the machine can start performing its sensitive operation.,
