Magnetic Material

We manufacture international standard electromagnetic drum separators for quality processing operations. Our permanent magnetic drum separators are ideal for processing operations to provide an efficient means for extracting ferrous material from dry, granular or pulverized materials such as chemicals, minerals, food, grains, plastics, etc. are conveyed in closed chutes or in a free-flowing processing system. In our manufactured industrial drum separator, material is fed in through the top from the adjustable controller which regulates and directs the product stream onto the drum, a revolving cylinder carries it over a stationary permanent magnet, either standard rare earth or ferrite, enclosed in a non-magnetic stainless-steel drum. Product flow is presented uniformly to the top of the drum and flows across the surface of the drum.

Ferrous matter contained in the product flow is drawn to the surface by the magnetic field and held against it by powerful magnet housed inside. The Ferrous matter is held on the drum beyond the discharge of the cleaned product flow, while non-ferrous products fall from the side of drum in a normal manner. Ferrous particles cling to its surface and the cleats on the drum aid in wiping off fine ferrous particles and then released into a separate discharge as it leaves the magnetic field. This creates continuous self-cleaning action requiring little maintenance or inspection. These self-cleaning units are provided in variety of sizes well equipped with a standard direct drive motor or optional chain and sprocket drive. These are available in single or double drum configurations depending upon clients' application.
