Depending on the design and application, a flexible membrane keypad with or without a connector is manufactured at Memtron. The keys are placed between multiple layers of flexible polymer sheets that have been punched (usually polyester). This flexible membrane keypad is made in accordance with global quality standards utilising premium materials and cutting-edge technology. Conductive silver ink is silk-screened onto the top and bottom membrane layers of the polyamide circuits. Keypads that are affordable, dependable, and have an essential life of more than 2 to 5 million keystrokes are also lighter than a PCB. Flexible circuits enable product forms that stiff PCBs cannot support. To address any immediate client requirement, we have full in-house production capabilities. We have a clean, controlled-temperature, well-ventilated, and non-hazardous facility that is ideal for producing membrane keypads. A glass epoxy PCB, a hard-backed PCB, and a thin polyester layer coated with conductive silver make up a PCB based keypad. These keyboards can be constructed with built-in LEDS and can have LEDs for the backlighting. There are tactile, non-tactile, and capacitive switches for PCB based membrane keypad. The graphic overlay is the upper, screen-printed layer of the membrane keypad. Such overlays can be made of polycarbonate or polyester with a matt or glossy appearance, depending on the needs of the customer. The membrane switchs graphic overlay and decals, which identify the locations of switches, windows, LEDs, and printing materials with the Instruments brand and name, are an essential component. Graphic pictures are produced by screen-printing coloured inks on plain material. This layer becomes the graphic overlay after printing and cutting to size and shape. Control panel overlays, front panels, graphic overlays and decals printed digitally provide the best printing quality and creative freedom without the constraints of other printing procedures.
