These beans are processed by wet or dry methods that results in the removal of outer pulp leaving it with the intense wax layer on its outer surface. With presence of nonvolatile and volatile compounds in the green coffee bean that were naturally meant to deter insects from straying on them. These compounds contribute distinctively to the flavor of Coffee bean when it is roasted.
