The applications should be accompanied by a work contract stamped by the Department of Labour of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance. The said Ministry is competent to examine whether regarding the specific profession or job there are no available or adequately qualified Cypriots and then to make a recommendation for employment of aliens. The applications are forwarded to the Civil Registry and Migration Department and after they are examined and it is established that there is nothing against the foreigners which prevents their entry into Cyprus, the relevant entry and work permits are issued.    Required documents: Application on forms M.58 and M.64 A photocopy of foreigner's passport A clean criminal record certificate of the foreigner Medical certificates of the foreigner A work contract, stamped by the Department of Labour of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance and stamped with a revenue stamp from the Revenue Stamps Registrar. Or to donate €100.000 to the Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Conservation Fund, National Solidarity Fund or Service of Industry and Technology. The above obligation is lifted If the applicant has made an investment under the criterion for Purchase / Establishment / Participation in Cypriot Companies of a total amount equal to at least €400.000 in a company active within the primary, or secondary sector of the economy (excluding constructions), or in the industries of research and development, education, health and renewable energy sources. To donate €100.000 to the Cyprus Land development Corporation.    Permanent Residency Cyprus Applicants can secure permanent residency in Cyprus through investment in real estate. The programme is one of the fastest and simplest investor visa programmes in Europe. It requires investment of just €300, 000 into property to gain the Cyprus residency permit.The residency visa is granted within two months and covers the whole family. Attested copy of High School Leaving Certificate (Lower & Higher Secondary) and mark sheets. Attested passport copy (valid for at least two years from the start of the semester to be enrolled). Attested Police Clearance Certificate (6 months validity period). Copy of the Entry Permit that was sent to them by the International Office of College/Univeristy Acceptance Letter from College/University Students who do not satisfy the above requirements will not be permitted to enter Cyprus.   Employment for Non-EU students Non-EU students are permitted to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester periods and 38 hours during vacation periods.   Students are eligible to work six months after entering the country and as per the Aliens and Immigration Law No. 184(1)/2007.   English Language Requirements All applicants must have a Secondary (High) School Leaving Certificate and must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.
