Specific Gravity Bottle
The determination of the specific gravity and density of fine soils is developed through three different operations: the sample, introduced in the specific gravity bottle, has to be thermostatically normalized by immersion in a suitable water bath complete with Adjustable tray and Cover with cooling coil (see accessories), then de-aired using a desiccator connected to a vacuum pump (see accessories) and, finally, weighted.
Glass bottles complete with capillary vent stopper.
The listed accessories also include the safety cage 86-D1113/1 wich is used for safety of the operator in case of accidental failure of the glass desiccator during vacuum
