The Midas M-200 is by far the most popular production scale Air Jet Mill currently in use in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry. The modular design allows for multiple variations of the machines, each suitable for different batch sizes. The small batch version allows for the machine to be used in Pilot Plants where the APIs undergo trials to achieve a suitable PSD, after which it is scaled up to the production scale machines in the production plants. This practice ensures that the same PSD results with negligible variation are achieved in both Pilot and Production plants without the need for changing any process parameters. Similar to the Midas M-100, the M-200 has also been extensively modified for use within Rigid Isolators. This allows for micronization of large volumes of cytotoxic APIs under containment, ensuring operator safety at all times. The unique design of the machines allows for tool-free assembly and disassembly of the machine with minimal lifting within the isolator.
