The most common use is a downward-facing blower fan mounted over an entrance to a building, or an opening between two space to maintain the temperatures. Air curtains saves energy by reducing the heat transfer between two open spaces, it is often used where doors are required to stay open for operational purposes. Specially designed commercial air curtains are widely used in customer entryways, shopping mall, show rooms, airplane hangars, cargo doors, drive through windows, restaurant doors, or shipping receiving doors.
