Matalcoat 3250 acts as Corrosion Inhibitor for Pipes, rods, structural, sheets, dies, any exposed metal surface. Matalcoat performs as corrosion inhibitor on metal objects preventing it from atmospheric corrosion and rusting. Matalcoat can be ap-plied on the metal by spraying, brushing or immersing. It forms a thin waxy layer on top of the metal surface which cures within 30 minutes and it acts a cover to prevent against corrosion.
Details :

• On new metals - The surface of the metal needs to be cleaned of any oily or grease by using suitable cleaners or a diluted po-tion of Matalcoat with water can be used to clean and then dried (air dried). Matalcoat can be sprayed or brushed or im-mersed for a period of 1 - 2 minutes and then air dried for around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full curing happens between 6 to 8 hrs depending on the conditions. Once it is dried, it forms a base for any additional coating like painting, oiling, power coating, etc
• On used metals - The surface of the metal to be cleaned of any dust or loose particles. To ease the operation, a dilute portion of Matalcoat can be applied on the metal and after 5 to 10 minutes, it can be cleaned with cloth and further again cleaned with dilute Matalcoat for better surface preparation. Matalcoat can be sprayed or brushed or immersed for a period of 1 - 2 minutes and then air dried for around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full curing happens between 6 to 8 hrs depending on the conditions. Once it is dried, it forms a base for any additional coating like painting, oiling, power coating, etc As Thread protector for bolts, nuts, screw, any threaded component, or sliding component.
• On new parts & old parts - The parts to be cleaned of any oil or grease by any suitable cleaner or immersed in the dilute portion of Matalcoat. After air dried, the parts to be immersed for a 1 or 2 mins or sprayed in Matalcoat solution and air dried for 2 hours before use.
