Guar Gum Powder , also referred to as guaran, is extracted from guar seeds and demonstrates significantly higher low-shear viscosity compared to other hydrocolloids such as locust bean gum. This natural agricultural product serves as a valuable source of high-grade galactomannan polysaccharides, making it an essential ingredient across multiple industries.   Guar seeds undergo a systematic three-stage process involving dehusking, milling, and screening to produce the final guar gum powder. The resulting product is a free-flowing, pale, off-white colored powder available in various particle sizes from coarse to fine ground specifications. The powder exhibits excellent water solubility and possesses natural water-binding properties due to its molecular structure.   Guar gum delivers superior thickening performance compared to alternative hydrocolloids, including locust bean gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, and cellulose gum. A key technical characteristic is its low-shear viscosity, which measures six times higher than its high-shear viscosity, providing optimal performance across different processing conditions.
