Plough shear mixers are suitable for mixing solids with solids, solids with liquids & gases as in case of certain reactions, it is used for granulation, drying, cooling, etc. The principle of operation is partial fluidization and cross convection at high intensities. There are no dead zones inside the mixer hence the mixing efficiencies are extremely high, true even in cases where a minute quantity of one component is added to the raw material. The mixer is horizontal with high speed choppers, top loading and bottom discharge. It is used successfully in numerous industries with wide range of applications like cement, detergents, brake liners, clutch facings, ptfe/ teflon, plastics, fertilizers, ceramics, foundries, electrodes, battery masses, fly ash, chemicals, dyes, pigments, anti oxidants, metal powders, abrasive wheels, refractories, ready mix cements, food ingredients, chocolates, cellulose and its derivatives, animal and poultry feed, bulk drugs, cosmetics, common salt, clay, coal and coke, explosive materials, gaskets, fire extinguishing powders, pesticides, mining ores, mill produts, waste disposal and recycling and host of others. These are supplied with accessories like dust collection, solvent recovery, liquid dozing, weigh feeding, heating, cooling, etc as may be required by the process the sizes vary from 5 litres to 20000 litres in various material of construction, flame proof and explosion proof designs, fully automated, ed or remote monitoring if needed.
