Heat Staking Machine

The "PH" stands for pulsed heat Hot bar. "CH" which stands for constant heat is also available. The model "150" stands for the AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE desktop system without product movement. The Desktop Series delivers the same high bonding quality as the larger and more automated systems.The Heat Staking process is a process where product deformation is most important and should be consistent. The Desktop systems offer an optional displacement module which measures the Hot bar displacement during the process cycle. The Pulsed Heat system configurations is equipped with a linear encoder with pulse counter. This encoder enables to measure the height of the dome before and after the heat staking process. High speed direct drive stages are mounted to granite isolated from a supporting welded frame. Automatic Hypotube Coating Removal System

Laser processing is a technology that produces faster, cleaner, more accurate and effective removal of a variety of coatings on round and cylindrical components; such as hypotubes and guide wires. This MIYACHI EAPRO system is designed for bulk processing of these medical parts which typically have the form of round wires, tubes and rods. Diameters range of 50 microns to 2mm and typical lengths from 100 up to 3000mm.


The system may also be used for advanced surface treatments, including discolouration, foaming and darkening or annealing. By selecting the correct laser source and part feeder, most plastic and metal parts that are fed as a bundle or on a reel may be laser processed.


The laser process creates a cleaner cut with smoother edges when compared to more traditional methods such as grinding. It eliminates burrs, nicks and does not result in increased surface roughness of the metal beneath the coating; if so desired. In addition, this process leaves a much cleaner surface after processing. The result being a cleaner, smoother, safer and more precise ablation window. This system will improve production processes, enable higher throughput levels and accommodate a wider range of materials.

LMWS - A cost efficient and flexible Laser Marking Workstation

It has become very easy to apply permanent markings by scribing the workpieces with a laser. AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE integrated a maintenance-free and energy-efficient fiber laser in a compact and safe enclosure. You just need a 230V connection, a PC and a small table are sufficient to mark your company logos, serial numbers, labels, images, QR-codes and photos in a few seconds.

Heat Staking Machine

The "PH" stands for pulsed heat Hot bar. "CH" which stands for constant heat is also available. The model "150" stands for the AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE desktop system without product movement. The Desktop Series delivers the same high bonding quality as the larger and more automated systems.The Heat Staking process is a process where product deformation is most important and should be consistent. The Desktop systems offer an optional displacement module which measures the Hot bar displacement during the process cycle. The Pulsed Heat system configurations is equipped with a linear encoder with pulse counter. This encoder enables to measure the height of the dome before and after the heat staking process. Minimum and maximum limits can be set around both measurements.

Sigma Fiber Laser Tube Cutter

AMADA MIYACHI Sigma Laser Tube Cutting System is the ideal solution for precision laser cutting of medical hypo tubes and stents. High speed direct drive stages are mounted to granite isolated from a supporting welded frame. Multi-axis options allow users to customize the laser tube cutter according to the cutting application for both on and off axis cut geometries. The fiber laser offers excellent beam quality and high pulse repetition rates for high speed precision cutting of metals.

The tube cutter may be configured with either a microsecond fiber (Yb:fiber) or femtosecond disk (Yb:KYW thin disk) laser. The femtosecond disk laser offers best-in-class cut quality using cold ablation cutting to produce an unrivalled edge quality that significantly reduces post processing costs on metals such as nitinol, as well as providing cutting capability for bio-absorbable polymers.

Lid Placement, Tack

The AF8200 (Autoflow) system for lid placement, tack & seam sealing is flexible enough to meet the ever-increasing demands of lid placement and seam sealing applications as seen in the optoelectronic packaging industry. It can be configured either as a stand-alone unit or as part of a fully integrated automated manufacturing line. The computer-controlled precision tacking and seam-sealing mechanism is combined with a high frequency inverter welding power supply and an optional high resolution vision system to provide a robust and repeatable process. Automatic Hypotube Coating Removal System

Laser processing is a technology that produces faster, cleaner, more accurate and effective removal of a variety of coatings on round and cylindrical components; such as hypotubes and guide wires. This MIYACHI EAPRO system is designed for bulk processing of these medical parts which typically have the form of round wires, tubes and rods. Diameters range of 50 microns to 2mm and typical lengths from 100 up to 3000mm.

The system may also be used for advanced surface treatments, including discolouration, foaming and darkening or annealing. By selecting the correct laser source and part feeder, most plastic and metal parts that are fed as a bundle or on a reel may be laser processed.

The laser process creates a cleaner cut with smoother edges when compared to more traditional methods such as grinding. It eliminates burrs, nicks and does not result in increased surface roughness of the metal beneath the coating; if so desired. In addition, this process leaves a much cleaner surface after processing. The result being a cleaner, smoother, safer and more precise ablation window. This system will improve production processes, enable higher throughput levels and accommodate a wider range of materials.

The MML-200A, Laser Weld Checker measures the output power and monitors it to ensure the output to be in the preset range.

MML-200A can emit an alarm signal when the actual output power would be above/below the pre-set upper/lower limit.
