Pig iron is a metal material that results when iron ore, low ash coke, and limestone are melted together under intense air pressure. When the combined material cools, it forms a high-carbon product known as pig iron. The cooled material is rarely used by itself, as the large amount of carbon makes the material brittle and unstable. This type of iron is further refined through additional melting and blending processes to create wrought iron, cast iron, or steel.

FeSi is a highly power consuming product. FeSi needs almost 3 times power/electricity compared to SiMn&FeMn. As a result, the cost of electricity is the main proportion of the cost of FeSi (almost 65% of the total cost of production). A typical 9MVA furnace producing 16, 500MT of SiMn&FeMn per year will produce only 7, 200MT of Ferro Silicon. Therefore, even though we are strongest in the production of FeSi, it comprises of only 15% of our total production. The main grades produced by us are:

HCFeMn is used in the production of both Steel and Foundry products. We offer 3 grades of HC FeMn for export. However, we are open to producing different grades of HC FeMn based on our customer’s requirements. The 3 main grades we offer are:

Silico Manganese is used mainly for steel making and comprises of majority of our exports. We offer mainly two grades of SiMn for exports. However, we are open to producing different grades of SiMn based on our customer’s requirements. The 2 main grades we offer are:

Our range of products also includes mild steel billets which are also called non-alloy steel billets. They are useful for making construction bars (TMT/deformed) and other structurals.
