Gears are accurately machine cut from special alloy steel and case hardened.
Load lifting and suspension hooks are as per IS:8610.
Load lifting chains are of alloy steel as per IS:6216 (Grade-8O)or mild steel as per IS:2429 (Pt.II)(Grade-30).
Frame is made of mild steel sections.
Load chain wheels are of heavy duty malleable castings with grade-8O load chains or graded cast iron with grade-30 load chains, and mounted on ball bearing for easy and smooth operation.
Screw and friction-disc type self actuating load pressure brake hardened to eliminate wear, is provided to hold and sustain load in any working position.
Hand chain wheels are of cast iron as per IS:210(Grade 30).
Standard lift manufactured is 3.0 metres, but can be supplied with any longer lift.
All chain pulley blocks are tested to 50 per cent safe overload and are supplied with works test-cum-guarantee certificate.
