Is a sterile, monofilament, non-absorbable, surgical suture material made of polypropylene. The tensile strength of this suture is subjected to no degradation where it can be retained for long period of time. Is a sterile, twisted, absorbable suture, produced from collagen of the gut wall of cattle (serosa) or sheep (submucosa). CATGUT suture has excellent handling features that contribute to high knot-pull tensile strength and good knot security. The softening process of the products is either by packed soaked in isopropanol base or packed softtened in isopropanol solution.
