Comprising of horizontal cylindrical shell with suitable ends, slow speedpaddle agitator is designed for mixing, drying, discharging the products. This is used for making dry powder from wet cakes or slurries, in batch type operation often under vacuum. Product is heated from outside through shell ends and from inside throughshaft� paddles, by means of steam or hot oil. Product filter, condenser, receiver and vacuum system are part of drying operation. Optional mechanical chopper cum deagglomerator can be provided forbreaking lumps formed while drying.
