Digital & Alarm Units
The FG-SYS digital unit is designed to be used with TTK digital liquid sensing cables FG-EC, FG-ECS (with FG-DTCS box), FG-AC and FG-HC2. The presence of a liquid on the sensing cable activates a luminous and audible alarm, displays the localization of the initial point of the leak to the nearest metre.

The FG-SYS digital unit can control from 1 to 120 lengths of sensing cables independently and indicate for each one the type of defect.

FG-SYS is able to be used with TTK digital liquid sensing cables: FG-EC, FG-AC and FG-HC2, FG-ECS (combien with FG-DTCS). Each length of sensing cable or digital sensor can be programmed and gives a specific designation of the room or floor inherent to each installation. In the event of a leak, an audible alarm is triggered, the zone indicator light changes to red, the dry contact is activated and the display shows the time, date the fault starts, type of fault (leak or circuit interruption), zone designation and distance in metres from the origin of the leak. Data Alarm Processor Controls System

The DAP III is a self contained multi-microprocessor based control and monitor system. It is designed with flash memory and a USB port allowing quick updates or modifications to firmware. DAP III was developed on a modular design concept with the basic components being the Display Module and Control Module. The Display Module has two rows of 80 character liquid crystal display for easy programming and diagnostic. It houses the optional communications card, allowing any DAP III to communicate with most major building management systems (BMS). Kold Aisle Containment Curtains

There has been a great deal of buzz lately throughout the data center industry concerning cold aisle containment systems. Cold aisle containment enhances the hot aisle/cold aisle design by retaining the cold air in the cold aisle. By closing off the ends of the cold aisles, it stops the cold air from escaping. This provides more consistent inlet temperatures to the servers while helping the CRAC units to operate more efficiently with higher inlet temperatures.
The hot-aisle /cold-aisle design is a long-standing data center best practice. It requires lining up server racks in alternating rows with cold-air intakes all facing one aisle and hot-air exhausts facing the other. Over the past several years, it became the de facto standard. But as server densities have increased, efficiency gains have consequently eroded.
In a typical data center that is configured using hot aisles and cold aisles, the cold air from the cold aisles wraps around the ends of the aisles and mixes with the hot air before it has a chance to get to the CRAC. This lowers the exhaust air temperature before it returns to the CRAC inlet. Lower CRAC return temperatures cause the CRACs to short cycle which causes additional inefficiencies and higher energy costs to operate.
With so much effort underway to improve the efficiency of data centers, cold aisle plastic curtains are one of the proven ways to accomplish this. Storage vendor NetApp uses similar curtains in their data center and says that curtains alone save them 1 million kWh of energy per year. One of the USA Yahoo data centers uses them as well.

Digital Water Leak Detection Systems

Digital & Alarm Units
The FG-SYS digital unit is designed to be used with TTK digital liquid sensing cables FG-EC, FG-ECS (with FG-DTCS box), FG-AC and FG-HC2. The presence of a liquid on the sensing cable activates a luminous and audible alarm, displays the localization of the initial point of the leak to the nearest metre.

The FG-SYS digital unit can control from 1 to 120 lengths of sensing cables independently and indicate for each one the type of defect.

FG-SYS is able to be used with TTK digital liquid sensing cables: FG-EC, FG-AC and FG-HC2, FG-ECS (combien with FG-DTCS). Each length of sensing cable or digital sensor can be programmed and gives a specific designation of the room or floor inherent to each installation. In the event of a leak, an audible alarm is triggered, the zone indicator light changes to red, the dry contact is activated and the display shows the time, date the fault starts, type of fault (leak or circuit interruption), zone designation and distance in metres from the origin of the leak. FG-SYS digital unit is totally compatible with existing operating systems. There are eight, entirely configurable dry contacts available, RS232 and RS485 serial links with MODBUS communication protocol for interfacing with executive, and streamline printing. Data Alarm Processor Controls System

The DAP III is a self contained multi-microprocessor based control and monitor system. It is designed with flash memory and a USB port allowing quick updates or modifications to firmware. DAP III was developed on a modular design concept with the basic components being the Display Module and Control Module. The Display Module has two rows of 80 character liquid crystal display for easy programming and diagnostic. It houses the optional communications card, allowing any DAP III to communicate with most major building management systems (BMS). The Control Module is unit mounted and the two are connected using a CAT-5 shielded cable. Kold Aisle Containment Curtains

There has been a great deal of buzz lately throughout the data center industry concerning cold aisle containment systems. Cold aisle containment enhances the hot aisle/cold aisle design by retaining the cold air in the cold aisle. By closing off the ends of the cold aisles, it stops the cold air from escaping. This provides more consistent inlet temperatures to the servers while helping the CRAC units to operate more efficiently with higher inlet temperatures.
The hot-aisle /cold-aisle design is a long-standing data center best practice. It requires lining up server racks in alternating rows with cold-air intakes all facing one aisle and hot-air exhausts facing the other. Over the past several years, it became the de facto standard. But as server densities have increased, efficiency gains have consequently eroded.
In a typical data center that is configured using hot aisles and cold aisles, the cold air from the cold aisles wraps around the ends of the aisles and mixes with the hot air before it has a chance to get to the CRAC. This lowers the exhaust air temperature before it returns to the CRAC inlet. Lower CRAC return temperatures cause the CRACs to short cycle which causes additional inefficiencies and higher energy costs to operate.
With so much effort underway to improve the efficiency of data centers, cold aisle plastic curtains are one of the proven ways to accomplish this. Storage vendor NetApp uses similar curtains in their data center and says that curtains alone save them 1 million kWh of energy per year. One of the USA Yahoo data centers uses them as well.
