The printing station is a fully integrated platform for digital-on-demand plasma printing based on a commercially available printing motion platform, ideal for process research. The system includes our proprietary plasma head, substrate table and power supply. Furthermore, the system offers a PC based intuitive graphical user interface. The hardware and software architecture have a very open character, enabling researchers to push their research beyond the current state of the art. For the roth & rau pixdro lp50 inkjet printer we offer an integration kit adding digital-on-demand plasma printing to the extensive range of processes hosted on this innovative flexible r&d tool. The pixdro lp50 supports various functional modules like different print heads, conditioned substrate table, drop analysis vision system, recirculating ink system, automatic maintenance station, etc. Our integration kit, consisting of our proprietary plasma head, substrate table and power supply, interfaces seamlessly with the lp50 platform. The inkjet print head modules and the âµplasmaprint module are exchangeable due to a common mechanical interface enabling easy and fast swapping between modules without recalibrating. This offers pre-treatment with the âµplasmaprint and subsequent inkjet printing for the best application results. Innophysics develops ac high voltage power supplies with low output power that can be used with the µplasmaprint technology. The high voltage generation source is connected and integrated into a control box that allows for fast and easy high voltage setting and control. The controller interfaces with a computer through ethernet.
