Model 701K

The low cost solution to sophisticated card access control Ultimate Dependability Recommended Applications:
  • Offices, Cabins, Other high Security zones

Designed for use on narrow stile aluminium and glass doors, the 700 Series has become popular for all door applications. The housing is fixed in position either slot up, down or to the side. Mounted with the slot down it is excellent for external use in harsh environments. Model 701K pictured, features a free-spinning knob that is engaged to retract the latch when the CorKey card is inserted. A key hold-in feature allows one hand operation. Rear knob can always unlock the door. Model 701H is the same but has handles both sides. Model 706 adapts to Rim Locks, Model 704 operates deadbolts.

GENERAL FEATURES
Standard and TriSec Models

(Standard has single fixed code, TriSec has both fixed and variable codes).

  • Both use patented magnetically coded stainless steel CorKey cards. Lighter duty plastic CorKey cards may also be used. These same CorKey are used with Model 1,300,400 and 500 Series CorKey locksets and switch locks.
  • 700 Series Systems may include any other models of CorKey locks and be mastered under a single key or include multiple levels of masterkeying under multiple masters.
  • The CorKey card is retained in the lock when inserted. The same hand can then be used to turn the handle or knob to actuate the latch or bolt and open the door.
  • Mounting can be with card slot either up or down. Some models can be mounted with slot to the side. For exterior locations mount slow down.
  • Features new patented drop-in code module for simple, quick code changing.
  • Standard finishes: SILVER CHROME:"C" POLISHED BRASS: "B"
  • Fits doors of width 37 mm (1-1/2") to 50 mm (2")
  • Available with or without TriSec Variable Code feature.

Additional Features of TriSec Locks

  • Three seconds to change codes from OUTSIDE the lock.
  • Each TriSec lock contains three independent codes. Two of these codes can be changed many times without disassembly of the lock. These are the "Variable Codes". The third code determines in which Building, Floor, or Door the lock is located. This internal code can also.
  • TriSec locks have two small holes in the keyed housing through which a Code Changing Tool can be inserted when a Code Changing Key is used to unlock the lock. Rotating the Tool sets the lock to different sub-codes of the primary lock code. For each primary code there are sixteen sub-codes and every TriSec lock can have a different primary code. Master keys can master one or more, or all the sub-codes and every TriSec lock can have a different primary code. Master keys can master one or more, or all the sub-codes in a system.
  • Buildings with hundreds of differently coded locks can be re-mastered by simply walking to each door and changing the "TriSec" code. (Three Seconds to change codes, three Security codes in each TriSec lock).
  • No new keys to buy. Simply add the new code to the existing CorKeys using one of the CorKey Encoding and Re-Keying Kits, or ask your CorKey Dealer to re-validate your keys. There is little inconvenience to yourself or your tenants, guests, employees, staff or students. Codes can be changed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or whenever necessary.
  • Hotels use the TriSec feature to change to change room codes when keys are lost. Stolen masterkeys can also be rendered useless by TriSec code changing. Changing Guest room codes does not affect Maid masterkeys and changing those keys does not affect Guest keys.
  • During building construction CorKey TriSec locks can be set to "Construction Code" Mode and all keys and locks will function through all levels of keying, but when the building opens all construction keys are denied access. Returned keys can be re-coded and re-issued as valid keys.
