Conventional distillation is used in various places to remove this salt but with the advancement of technology it is becoming fast obsolete. By taking its place, demineralisation system is used in natural source of water to produce a high quality water. There are several types of demineralisation plants available in the market. One of them are mix bed unit. This type of unit is used to remove the leftover solids. This is an ion exchange process also. Exchanged resins along with frp material is used for this mixed bed unit. Conductivity meter, pressure gauges, ph meter, rota meter are engaged to keep a check on the process parameter.
