Nylon sheet does have a few slight advantages, the first being that it can operate at a very slightly higher temperature and the second advantage of Nylon Sheet is also that it is slightly harder as an engineering plastic. Nylon sheet can be used for pretty much most applications and the natural grade is acceptable with food environments. Typically Nylon Sheet will be used as wear strips or blocks and is very abrasion resistant. Nylon sheet can be machined very easily and provides a smooth surface finish for product contact such as on conveyor systems
